"Beautiful luxurious hotel facing the harbour. Room had great sea view but huge cruise ships dock right in front of hotel so view partially obscured when ships are in. Room very clean but there were ugly stains on the carpet where someone had spilled something - carpet should have been professionally cleaned, seeing as this is a high-end hotel and stains were unsightly. "My family and I stayed here because we were taking a cruise out of Trieste. The hotel was clean and very modern (I’m guessing recently updated). The staff were very friendly and several eateries are within walking distance. The cruise terminal is also within walking distance from the hotel so no need for a cab. It’s a short ride from the Trieste airport maybe 20/25 minutes at the cost at the time was about $85 Euros. "
