"If you are looking for Sicialian Old World charm, this hotel has it in spades. It is quiet, elegant and tucked away in an unlikely setting. The surrounding buildings and street do not vibe with beautiful hotel. Although it was a short walk downhill to the Roman amphitheater, the uphill climb is not for someone who would rather not exert themselves. The restaurants close by are fair, lacking the ambiance and sophistication of more upscale restaurants. The staff at this hotel were fabulous- attentive and informative. Valentina and Antonio gave us great recommendations for sightseeing and places to eat. The breakfast was excellent, again with wonderful waitstaff. We felt very cared for by everyone at the Liberty Hotel!!"

"What a great place to say in catania. the hotel staff was very informative and helpful. Very convenient to nearby train station and bus depot. Interbus station is within walking distance to the hotel. You can catch allibus to airport a the train station. "

We were warned about the neighborhood, so we were cautious. But again, there were so many options nearby. Absolutely fantastic experience. "
