Vintage San Francisco Bay Area Home

Relive the classic days of the San Francisco 70’s in this vintage styled South San Francisco home.

In the Home you’ll find 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, each bedroom is fun and styled; from our bedroom with orange shag carpet to our master bedroom with a leather headboard and mirrored vanity, each room has something fun to offer. The home is equipped with fast WIFI, a Smart TV in the living room with Netflix, Prime video (+ more), and a record player. On the walls we have vintage paintings showcasing some of the finer things. We also have some fun vintage books about the Bay Area and classic National Geographic magazines to flip through in your free time. Our kitchen has all the basics if you’d like to cook or store your food, feature a decently sized dining table for families and friends visiting of all sizes.

In our backyard, you’ll find a wonderfully large palm tree, the true tree of California towering over 3 stories. Out-back you’ll also find a lounge area equipped with 4 chairs and a table to enjoy the fun California sun by are constantly growing garden.

The home is nestled by the San Bruno mountains, are great place for hiking and exploring, SFO airport and the San Francisco Bay Area Bio-tech hub. Just south of Downtown San Francisco by about 15 min driving, our home is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood compared to the bustling downtown area. With-in walking distance we have a few restaurants, a local children’s playground with a massive basketball court and a laundromat.

We are constantly updating the experience with new styles and trinkets to include more flavor of San Francisco’s past. Thank you for reading, we look forward to hosting you soon!

This house was great, it was close to a school park that was fun for my daughter, also good walking area for my dog, and so close to the city without being right in it. It was perfect for our family.

This is a wonderful place that feels like home away from home. It has a nice yard for family to relax in and plenty of room to relax inside with the whole family. It has everything you could need. We've stayed here before and it just gets better.

Super cute vintage place in South San Francisco
The listing is very accurate! This place is right off the 101 freeway and very close to the airport. Our kiddo is special needs, so staying at a hotel is not appropriate for us. This house had everything we needed to relax and prepare for the college graduation we were attending. We were close enough to the city and far enough from the traffic and parking issues. Plenty of towels, which is great! There is an iron/ironing board in the closet as well. Perfect!!!

Nice, relatively affordable for SF, good communication with Host! Would stay again
We had a lovely time at this stay in South San Francisco. The location was great, close to the airport, and not too far a drive to the city center and other attractions. It is a "dated" house (70's decor as advertised) but it is definitely clean and well maintained. The house smelled fresh and clean and everything was in order. The host was also great with communication and very accommodating when my flight got delayed 6+ hours. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Adequate, could be cleaner, some concern of black mold, a bit of a smell. Parking is a shocking squeeze, but the owner is friendly and helpful and quick to answer, everything is actually comfortable. Close to airport, highway, and some Spanish food markets.

The get away from the get away!
As listed very simple no frills home but lots of room. The feel of this older home makes you feel like your not on vacation. The house was clean and comfortable and the location made it easy to get everywhere under 30 minutes. The owner is correct parking is prime on this street very tight, however we were able to park in the driveway with a mini van, a smaller car will have no issues parking in the driveway. All in all we would stay here again.

The house came as advertised in the photos, adequately clean. The neighborhood felt relatively safe, no real issue with leaving your car out for multiple days. Instructions for check in were clearly laid out. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels/linens were provided. My only negative would be that there's one bathroom, and there's no exhaust; just a window. I do however, recognize that we got the rental at a fantastic price including taxes, fees, etc. so can't complain too much. Overall, I would strongly recommend this!

Overall, was a great stay. Three individual rooms were roomy and were big enough for our family of four. There were towels, toiletries, and even a candle to make us feel at home. The house was on the older side so it did have an older smell to it. We did have to light the candle to mask the smell a bit. Other than that it was a very great and comfortable stay. Very easy check in and check out. The parking is enough for about three small cars or two big trucks in the drive-way. Street parking can be a hassle on the weekends. This home makes you feel like a local if you decide to stay here.

A sad filthy house
everything in the kitchen is grimy dirty. Items in cupboard expired more than 10 years ago. There is likely black mold in the bathroom. Windows and tracks are filthy. Only superficially vacuumed. Neighborhood is fine and easy access to Hwy 101. This house needs a renovation and serious cleaning.

The property owner STILL has not responded to email about the check out process! The place IS Not as advertised- nothing is vintage about the property, inside or out. And, that wasn’t enough it’s not secure either. None of the windows have working locks. It was quite stressful to sleep knowing that we were not completely secure.

Simple home
Maybe my standards are a little higher than the previous guests. The home had a strange smell - like mold and motor oil- hard to describe. Very simple, basic and "different" furnishings. Dark curtains. Very outdated. No washer or dryer. No hair dryer. Have done some work in back yard that looks pretty nice. I would have started with improving the inside of the home first.
