Communication glitch
The property was great however the property manager neglected to submit arrival information so upon arrival we were without access to our rental. After 3 unsuccessful email attempts to reach the manager, we contacted VRBO (20+ minutes before they answered) who then contacted the manager. This whole process took about an hour, all while we were waiting on the streets of San Francisco. Once we got access codes and information, we were not disappointed. The only thing we would have enjoyed was a TV to watch after a day playing in the city.

We didn’t receive any instructions or messages prior to check in. I tried both messaging the host and calling the host and leaving a voicemail to gain entry to the property. We also went to the front door and tried ringing the doorbell on two separate occasions. We ended up going to dinner in hopes that we might hear back from the host within a few hours. No messages through the app and no returned phone calls. We ended up booking a hotel in Marina at 9pm. Shouts out to Motel Capri. We had a great stay there instead.

Pleasant stay in a nice neighborhood
The place itself and the location was really nice! But the check-in instruction were not really clear and we did not get the check-in instructions in advance which lead to 30+ minutes of trying to get in. After that experience, everything else was smooth sailing.
