This hotel was nice, free parking was superb. Please note that the parking is a first come first serve basis. I will recommend this place to anyone because the price when I booked was just right especially with the free parking. The staff are very nice and friendly. I spent 4 nights there and I enjoyed my stay.

I traveled by myself and it’s a pretty solid hotel. Nothing fancy at all gets the job done. Everything is completely brand new used to be at old hotel. Staff is very chill overall have no complaints. You could park in the parking lot for free and if it’s full you just park across the street, no biggie. If you’re looking for a place, that’s not gonna break your budget I suggest to go here. You can walk to the painted ladies it’s right down the street. The Golden Gate Bridge ,Pier 39, the city is all 30 minutes from the hotel I just ubered.

This hotel is nicely renovated in a convenient location, however …. I am devastated by the lack of humanity that was shown to me by the owner. I came to SF on a bit of a pilgrimage to do some things to honor the wishes of a friend who was tragically killed last year … I booked this hotel for one night for the sole purpose of driving to bakers beach and getting a particular sunset shot of the bridge. When I went to leave, I was told I would not have a parking spot when I returned… One of the reasons I booked here was it was listed that there was free parking … that’s not quite true … there aren’t enough spots for the number of rooms. I explained my situation (I would only be gone an hour) — and was met with cold and uncaring repetition of his rules. Although I understand … there are always exceptions to rules … this was a really special trip for me and I chose this place to stay for it … Also … it should be changed in the description that the parking is LIMITED and not guaranteed…. That was misleading and an exception should have been made solely based on the misunderstanding that was on their end. I did not get my sunset pic of the Golden Gate Bridge because by the time he was done going on and on about his parking rules … the window was gone. Thanks Inn on Grove for not doing something incredibly simple that would have helped a grieving person find peace. If you want a nice, comfy place to stay with potential parking and no humanity… look no more

The gentleman who bought this place one year ago has put so much attention and thought into making this cute hotel. Yes it is an older building, but it has been renovated beautifully to match the surrounding neighborhood. The rooms are tiny but very clean and the shower has a power wash mode to get the salty air right off of you. The staff is very kind, the parking is free and it is in walking distance to any convenience you would ever need. Try the burger joint located next to the hotel, best burgers this side of the bay!!!

The property was clean and looked nice. Overall I liked it. They must have about 40 units, but only parking for about 15 to 20 cars. Had they been full, given our late arrival, we might not have had a parking space. Also no in room amenities other than microwave and refrigerator. No little coffee maker with coffee and tea options. Still, the staff was very nice and helpful.
