Well this was not my first time visiting San Felipe. I always enjoy walking on the Malecon and on streets of San Felipe. It is a great place to have some relaxation time.

"For a budget stopover the Hotel Diamante could not be faulted. The room was spacious with two king size beds. In a room off there was a good sized sink area, toilet and shower. The shower had plenty of hot water and the water quickly became hot at the sink. Besides the television there was a microwave ..."

Very inexpensive. I took 5 people out for a nice steak dinner, not including myself and paid for dinner. I was the only one that had an alcoholic beverage. I ordered appetizers but nobody had desserts. We were all full. Dinner was around $100 U.S.D.

First time here and we were here for the shrimp festival. It was nice and there was a lot off food. People were great.
