"Everything was amazing. The reviews for this hotel were very mixed, however our experience was amazing and have no idea why anyone would say anything negative. Our room (#8) was beautiful, the esthetic of the pool was georgeous, the view of Lake Atitlan (feet away) was breathtaking, the staff was kind, friendly (miri and juan..everyone) and everyone always had a smile on their face. "This hotel was wonderful. The staff were so welcoming, breakfast was tasty. It was quiet and relaxing. A 7 minute walk to the main area / where you get off the boat and about a 3 minute walk to the closest restaurant. They have a boardwalk right into the lake which is nice for an evening drink. The room was clean and well stocked with a great view of the lake. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars. "

"The hotel itself was lovely, but our door was hard to close. You had to really slam it for it to lock. It would have been nice to have coffee and breakfast available in the morning.
