A lovely living room area, plenty of delicious coffee, tea, water, even complimentary biscuits and snacks. There was a fridge and nice robes and slippers. The only thing that was less than ideal was the shower because my husband is taller than most Italian showers but didn’t take away from an amazing stay and feeling while we were there. "

"I arrived at about 3 pm. The hotel was with closed and locked gates. I was sure that it was closed as I didn’t see anyone inside. About 45 minutes later the reception person arrived from home. Apparently, his shift starts at 4 pm. I asked to be upgraded from a very old building to a new one. I had to pay extra for the upgrade. I got a room in the new building which was great. Location however is in a village about 30 km from Parma. I went to dinner in the village at a traditional restaurant which was excellent. I was the only tourist there. If you can deal with a very remote location, a closed reception until 4 pm, and if you get a room in the new building, then this is actually a 5 star experience."

"Really friendly staf, was travelling with two dogs and the staff were super accommodating in the hotel and in the restaurant. Also genuine and friendly. Would definitely stay again. "
