"This is a very tranquil place to stay, nestled in beautiful hills with some very pleasant nearby towns--in particular, Sicignano degli Alburi. We attended a large family reunion in Sicignano, and Mariangela, our hostess at La Tavernola, was very accommodating, allowing a small family photo exhibit on the premises, while also catering a delicious snack ("an evening under the stars") to finish up the weekend. Salvatore’s villa provided everything we wanted. Whilst being away from the central drag it was, nevertheless, accessible and gave us beautiful views.
