"Arriving at Bari we firstly had a message from Paola giving clear map directions via Google -allow at least 2 hours by car from the airport. The accommodation was on 2 levels which was a pleasant surprise as was the welcome pack of foodstuffs. Grateful too for the map of Lecce and Puglia given to us - none provided by the car hire company. Two nice restaurants in Lizzarello - Li Mori and Villa Pins. Good base for visiting much of Puglia and south managed Otranto and St M Leuca and north Ostuni...

"Pros: - Building looks nice - Feels secure - Plenty of parking - Fairly quiet, but closer road and other residential property than anticipated from description. Cons: - It has damp issues, in particular in the bedroom which is difficult to ventilate. The bed was damp to get into and when the building had been shut up all day, it smelled damp. - Kitchen was not well equipped - No wifi and mobile reception not great - The hot water tank was too small. "It was great location, super clean but I was not advise in advance about the no parking available for free or the prohibition to enter into the historic centre where the hotel is located . I hope I do not have a fee for that! "

"This house was just like the pictures and worked perfect for our group of 8 adults. My only regret is not having more time to spend just hanging out at the house. I highly recommend staying here. The caretaker, Oronizino, was great!"

"This is a beautiful house in the peaceful countryside and completely private. It is situated just over 2km from the centre of Martano. The house is spacious and well equipped and the outdoor terraces were perfect for sunbathing and meals. Valentina and her father, Alessandro, were very friendly and helpful and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their house. Thank you!"
