It's a little bit funky, it's a little bit retro, and it's ALL beachy fun!

Located in the heart of one of San Diego's most famous beach communities and within walking distance to the ocean and to the heart of the Ocean Beach community, our place offers everything you might need to rest, rejuvenate and have some fun in San Diego!

Not only are we right down the street from shopping, restaurants and entertainment, but we are mere minutes from San Diego's best beaches, including Pacific Beach, La Jolla and Del Mar. Sea World is right around the corner, Balboa Park is just a hop, skip and a jump away, and the Gaslamp District is about 10 minutes down Interstate 5. Let's just say we're about 10 minutes from almost any place you might want to visit in our amazing city, as well as the San Diego International Airport!

This home is a tastefully designed one-bedroom with a full kitchen that can sleep four. Our beach cottage features a queen-sized bed, along with a very comfortable sofa sleeper. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and amenities include free parking, free Wi-Fi, and Apple TV.

Guest Access

You will have access to the entire bungalow and all amenities, including the front yard outdoor space and, of course, sunny San Diego!

If you’re looking for a laid back beach to hang out like a local, look no further than Ocean Beach. This small beach town is a favorite among locals who spend their days surfing, sun bathing around the pier, hanging out and strolling through the many surf shops, taco stands and antique malls. Ocean Beach offers the pitch perfect throw-back groovy vibe of vintage SoCal, coupled with friendly locals, great dining, and a vibrant night life scene.

Nestled between the San Diego River and the hills of Point Loma, Ocean Beach is perfect for surfers to enjoy the waves created by jetties. The beach is super friendly for swimmers and sun bathers!

Getting around

A rental car is strongly recommended! Otherwise, Uber, Lyft and taxicabs are the best bets, but mediocre SoCal public transportation is also available. ;)

Can’t beat the location
This was just perfect for our stay. Can walk easily to get coffee, food, and explore the local scene. Fun people watching at the beach and don’t forget to go to Sunset Cliffs at low tide.

Cute bungalow in great location
Stayed here with my husband and daughter and it was perfect for us. Very cozy and decorated nicely. Perfect location as we walked everywhere in OB including the beach which is only a few blocks away. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the beach house! It is in a great location. The house is close to town with restaurants, stores, the beach, etc. Inside, the house is a bit dated, but for the price and location, it was well worth it. The owner was very responsive when we had questions and communicated with us throughout our stay as needed.

Nice one bedroom, centrally located and within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the beach! Designated parking spot is a plus in this neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

there were a few things that could be improved upon but overall we had a great stay. it does get warm (like the other reviews mentioned) but we werent there during the day for the most part so it wasnt a problem.

Perfect beach bungalow with a very San Diego vibe. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. The water was shut off for a bit one day and the owner preemptively refunded us part of our stay. Can’t ask for more than that! Highly recommend!!

The bungalow was everything we expected it to be. It is actually very spacious & master bed was comfortable.The neighborhood was quaint & friendly. The location is near the ocean & several restaurants. We loved having the off street parking. Highly recommend!!

The property was amazing and perfect for a young couple. The front yard was tidy and room for kids to play if need be. The best part, in my opinion, was the location. Everything we needed and more was right there in short walking distance including the beach. Even walking late at night after dark, we felt safe in this neighborhood and would definitely recommend !

Ocean Beach gem
We were visiting the San Diego area during an unusual cold spell. The bungalow got a bit chilly with limited heat, but was still comfortable. This cute bungalow was within walking distance to the hippie vibes of the OB restaurants and breweries. Close to all of the tourist spots- Sunset Cliffs, downtown, Sea World, Pacific Beach. A great place to stay.

Could use some improvements but basics are all there.
This location is awesome and a great "bro pad". Definitely suited best for a couple or single person who is wanting to explore Ocean Beach. The accomodations for a third guest were not ideal so something to consider. Believe them when they say the place is aged. Cute décor, great location but could use some improvements (many of which I suggested for the next traveler(s).). Although our last morning there wasn't ideal, the communication with the owner and the response to our concerns were addressed quickly. Hopefully they took the feedback and put it to good use!

Cute Bungalow
This is a cute little bungalow. The size was great for our girls trip. The only problem we encountered was that two out of the three fans were broken. Since we used the bedroom and the front room for sleeping, only one of us got a fan. The fan was helpful drowning out the all the planes overhead. It was pretty warm when we returned at the end of the day and a second fan would’ve been nice. The designated parking in the back was awesome. Otherwise, I’m not sure how close we could’ve parked. Other than the fans, our visit was great!

Enjoy a short beach walk access get away
Property as described. The queen bed was just not enough room to sleep comfortably as we have king size. Decided to cook one evening as there were plenty of cooking and eating utensils provided, even oils and some spices in the cupboard. Coffee maker and filters worked fine. We brought our ground coffee. The afternoons from 3:00 to 6:00 pm heated up the unit. Better plan on activities outside during the time. Drew was helpful I recommending activities when we emailed him. He would email reply nimbly. Parking in rear use the lane way. When we arrived the street parking was full in front. That’s was a relief to find but not until we had to walk to make several trips to unpack our vehicle. Once we spent the entire day we made it work for us. Location down street lead straight to ocean about 5 short blocks. Easy walking distance to downtown Ocean Beach restaurants and shops. Sunsets were the end of the days treat. Weather in the 70. Beautiful. Great little find. Thanks Drew for being a gracious host.
