Summary:
Welcome to this Point Loma / Shelter Island escape! You are in the heart of Point Loma where you will find the BEST fresh seafood at the Fisherman's Landing, delicious cafes and eateries, adorable mom and pop shops, gorgeous golden sunsets at Sunset Cliffs, and so much more!! It is in a very central location (about 5-10 mins to the airport!) to all of San Diego as well. This upstairs apartment has a modern, fun, beach-themed style to make you feel right at home during your stay in San Diego!

The Space:
Designed specifically to Point Loma and San Diego themes into the home with a modern boho twist to it. You are sure to feel right at home on the L shaped couch, comfy queen sized beds, or in the fully stocked kitchen!
We recently added one AC unit in each bedroom as well.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire 2 bedroom unit.

The Neighborhood:
Point Loma is a beautiful rugged peninsula on the coast of San Diego. It is known for Cabrillo National Monument - a national park with trails, tide pools and exhibits on California history. Sunset Cliffs Natural Park is also a popular spot to watch the sun go down. Liberty Station, a former Naval Training Center, now has buzzy restaurants, shops, and lots of events. Delicious and fresh seafood eateries are all over the nearby Shelter and Harbor islands. If you're into live music - Humphreys Concerts by the Bay is a great place to check out. Be sure to check their events schedule! ** Locals Tip - you can rent kayaks / boats and watch these concerts for free from the water ;)

Getting Around:
Point Loma is a very walkable area to get to the cafes, shops, and eateries that are nearby. Uber / Lyft is readily available to get anywhere outside of the Point Loma bubble (San Diego has so much to offer!). There is one assigned parking spot if you bring your own car but please note it's a tight turn to get into it if your car is anything larger than a mid-sized car (like a Rav 4).

Other Things to Note:
Pets are welcome with prior approval and additional $125 pet fee.
**No pets without prior written approval. If you're bringing a pet, you must follow airbnb's pet rules: dispose of all pet waste properly, never leave pet unattended in the home, and keep dogs leashed when walking them outside of the home.

Laundry on site - quarters only. $2.00 to wash and $1.50 to dry.

Please don't put large pieces of food down the kitchen disposal.

San Diego now requires all guests to sign a Good Neighbor Policy document prior to staying. We do enforce their policy so it must be signed in order to receive checkin info, but we will make it super easy for you to initial and sign :) It can all be done online.

Great spot to post up.
It was a great home away from home while in San Diego. Comfortable and clean. Location walking distance to coffee, bookstore, food, and the harbor. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing location
Amazing location and walking distance to lots of nice restaurants. Very clean and comfortable rental in a nice neighborhood and it was perfect. Property manager was great to work with and very accommodating. It is very close to the airport and attractions. I highly recommend.

We went to Point Loma to see our son graduate from A school at the Naval Base. We were very close to base (5 minutes) which was ideal. The property was perfect for 3 adults. Would have loved a dishwasher but it was not expected so no problem. One bed was a little uncomfortable but since our son only spent 1 night with us, we switched to the other bed and were fine. Listen to the description of parking because it is tight. Perfect little get away and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great host!

PERFECT condo, perfect location
We love San Diego and this condo was perfect for our group. We had 4 adults, one teen, and one youth and we all had a place to sleep comfortably. The cond listing said there was a queen blowup mattress, but there wasn't one. Luckily we brought our own. Also, there was no broom or any way to sweep the floors when we got back from the beach. I would definitely stay here again - the condo was super comfortable, quiet, and right in the middle of where we wanted to be!

Perfect location to visit my Marine
Planned a trip to San Diego to visit with my son before he deployed.... very convenient location to all of the things we wanted to do while we were in town - plus close to where he works and the activities surrounding his departure. Loved the walkable restaurants and coffee shops (and the ice cream shop).... Being so close to the Point Loma Lighthouse and historic area was a bonus...... Very nice place. Quiet surroundings. Parking was a little clunky -- but it was nice to have a reserved parking spot and not have to park on the street. And the other residents of the complex were very accommodating and parked their car in the back of the parking lot that gave us a little more space to maneuver. Its not a negative at all -- just something to be aware of if you drive a large SUV .... Lots of living space to spread out for my and my two grown children -- not cramped at all like at a hotel. Owners were easy to work with. Great communication about check in / out, code for the door. Super easy -- no issues there.

Lovely Unit w/in walking distance of restaurants and water
I was staying here while I was recovering from a surgery, and I needed a number of things a short walk away while I was recovering. This was perfect, as my caregiver and I could easily walk to various restaurants for lunches and dinners, and the water wasn't far away for sunny walks either. The unit was immaculately clean when we arrived, and when the electric door lock stopped working, someone arrived within 30 minutes to get it working for us again. The only downside is that this unit does not have any air conditioning or heating, so we did have to quickly run out and buy electric blankets and a space heater to be warm enough at night in mid-November.

Great Stay in San Diego
Overall was a great stay at San Diego. The only feedback I have is the check in process was delayed. I had to call the service to get the instructions. Also the floor needed to be cleaned better. It was very dirty. Also I would suggest having extra batteries for theTV remote. The parking is very tight which we did not know and was difficult with an infant and a mid size SUV. We had to park on the street which was not much of a problem and was free. Overall the place had everything you needed and we had a wonderful time! Also the answering service was quick to pick up.
