Cute bungalow, amazing location!
This bungalow is adorable and in a cute neighborhood. The weather was amazing and we we're able to walk to the beaches and downtown area of ocean beach. Easy to also drive to downtown SD. It was a quick trip, but definitely would book again :)

We had a great time in San Diego, and the Sunset Cottage was a perfect accommodation for our family! Located in a safe, central neighbourhood, with lots of great restaurant/cafe options nearby. Rodney was a great host, very responsive to texts, provided us with excellent recommendations for restaurants and local activities.

My family of 4 with children aged 3 and 5 had a nice stay. We really enjoyed sleeping with the windows open. The house had everything we needed and Rodney was great to work with.

Beach house perfection
The house is perfectly located and just walking distance to town. Perfectly decorated and spotless. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The garden is spectacular and a wonderful place to gather. The host was responsive and gave great recommendations for local food and activities. We loved our stay at this special and happy little beach house and will return.

A nice California beach town
We were impressed with the cottage and found it to be clean, comfortable, and nice to come home to after a day out. Beds were comfortable. The Ocean Beach area had good restaurants, nice beaches and especially nice garden areas. Sunset Cottage had beautiful gardens as well.

Wonderful little cottage
We found the cottage quite ideal for our needs - two couples, older generation and younger. Kitchen and its its furnishings and appliances seemed very new and impeccably clean. It was well equipped for basic needs, pleasant and well located. We were very happy with it.

Cute little house! Loved that it was walking distance to beaches, restaurants, and convenience stores. It’s just a short drive from the airport and easy to get to downtown and all the sights and excursions that San Diego has to offer. The host was easy to contact and allowed us to check in early. The beds were comfortable and kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking utensils.

We stayed for a week at this lovely gem of a cottage. Perfect location a short walk from the ocean with fantastic views from the cliffs and bohemian Ocean Beach. We spent several evenings just relaxing and enjoying the view from the porch and living room. Fully equipped with everything you might need including all kitchen utensils. Highly recommended!

My family really enjoyed this vacation rental. The how was well maintained and very welcoming. There was plenty of space to feel at home and you cannot beat the location. We were close to everything we planned to do on our vacation. We were minutes away from the beach, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, and great restaurants. There is also a lot of food within walking distance. The Owner was responsive and totally professional. We had a wonderful stay!

The cottage is very clean and comfortable! The furnishing are extremely nice and the whole place is beautifully decorated. Only a short walk to the beach and Newport Avenue where restaurants and shops are found. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. I would recommend the cottage to anyone visiting San Diego! Weekend with Grandsons
The cottage was a great base of operations for our busy weekend of adventures with our five- and eight-year-old grandsons. The cottage was clean, well equipped, and charmingly decorated. The amazing garden provided a calming respite to the bustling rhythm of our days. Our host, Rodney, could not have been more accommodating. Overall, all that we could have hoped for in a vacation rental!
