Short and sweet stay
Garden cottage was the perfect spot for our short stay in San Diego. It was charming, clean, and had everything we needed to guarantee a relaxing stay. The gardens were stunning and we loved relaxing in the back yard. Rodney was so easy to work with! We are all looking forward to another stay in the future.

Wonderful place to stay
We stayed as a family of 4 and enjoyed the abundant space inside and outside the Farm House. Rustic charm aplenty. Easy to get to and from, whether you come from SLO or Pismo Beach. We had one request during our stay, and Chris the property manager was very responsive. Definitely would recommend a stay at the Old Edna Farm House!

Relaxing stay!
Very comfortable little cottage, perfect for a small family with young kids. Beautifully landscaped, the back yard was a wonderful place to relax and have some wine while kiddos napped :) Rodney rocks as a VRBO host!

This was our first visit to San Diego. We loved this little place, quiet location but close to town. 20 minute or less drive to many attractions. Clean and comfortable.

Amazing Host and Fantastic Location
Rodney is the best host I've ever worked with! He is responsive, helped address every concern or need, provided local recommendations, and even helped us after our stay when our travel was delayed due to weather. The house is great :) It's exactly as pictured and we really enjoyed how bright the space was. We were withing walking distance of nearly everything and even had a view of the water. Super happy to have stayed and we will definitely stay at one of Rodney's properties again!

Beautiful, cozy cottage by the Sea
This cottage was cozy, clean, and smartly furnished. Our family enjoyed the short walk to Sunset Cliffs and OB. We ventured out every day early to enjoy bagels and coffee in town or breakfast and to enjoy the beach. The grounds were a succulent paradise and everything felt zen. Our family will remember our time and memories made at the cottage for years to come!

Great garden and beach access
This was the perfect location for our family of four. It was equidistant between two different and unique beach experiences (sandy Ocean Beach and rocks and tidepools at Sunset Cliffs). The backyard garden is a peaceful retreat. Everything is clean and the kitchen is well equipped with utensils, pots, pans, and spices. The beds were very comfortable.

Wonderful property
Property was great! Comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. Washer and dryer took a long time to do a load of laundry but got the job done nonetheless. Rodney was responsive to texts and offered up suggestions on dining when asked. No grill or fire pit like listed unless it was tucked away where we didn’t see. Wasn’t important enough to ask about though. Didn’t impact our stay. Ocean beach is nice but it’s a little drive time wise to the nicer beaches for families. Would stay again for sure!

Great little beach cottage
We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy beach cottage. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. The outdoor space was nicely kept and perfect for lounging. The house is located a short walk to the seaside cliffs -- a perfect spot to take in the views of the ocean or get in a scenic walk or jog. The neighborhood is residential and during our stay was quite quiet (you'll hear and see planes passing overhead, but they never bothered us). It's also just a short walk to neighborhood restaurants and a quick drive to groceries, etc. We'd definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Ocean Beach cottage
The Garden Cottage was perfect for a stay in San Diego with our adult son. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The cottage is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The manager of the property responds immediately to questions by text. We loved its proximity to the beach and great restaurants within walking distance. The sights of downtown and Central San Diego are easily accessible by car. We would love to stay here again!

Adorable cottage in Ocean Beach
We loved our stay at the Garden Cottage. The location was perfect, there was consistent street parking next to the home, the cottage was exactly as described on Vrbo, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Good communication with the host throughout the process. The kitchen was well-stocked for those hoping to cook a few meals while away. Easy walk to multiple convenient stores for staples. Tacos at Sunnie's and walks to the beach with a quick stop at OB Donuts should be on your list. We would definitely go back. Thank you!

Home away from home
I was impressed from the moment I booked my vacation and it only increased from there. Rodney's communication was very thorough and answered all my questions (some even before I thought of them) so my family was well informed before our arrival. The home is beautifully decorated and so inviting! The beds were luxurious and backyard hammock the perfect relaxation spot daydreaming about our next trip back to this cottage and OB! So many great shops and restaurants on Newport - I suggest taking the short walk to shop and eat and don't miss the Farmers Market on Wednesday evening. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with my family - we will be back!!

Cottage cute & clean, location not conducive to relaxation
The cottage was set up beautifully with all the amenities of home, yet the area was not conducive to a relaxing beach vacation. There was major construction on new homes and very noisy very early with banging and annoying constant beeping .The cottage is also located directly in the flight path of San Diego airport so it is very loud and noisy with aircraft starting early morning. The cottage is in walking distance from an overview of the ocean but not from an actual beach. That was kind of a bummer ... we had to drive to the beach. Overall, the cottage was great, but it did effect our vacation.
