Great place!
We had a great stay! We go on our family vacation every year and always stay in the same general area. We were extremely happy with this house. The three levels and three full bathrooms make it so everyone had plenty of space. Quick walk to the beach or bay. Check in was very easy and the owners were very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again and will be booking for next year soon!

Fantastic Property Manager, Great Location
The property owners are the most responsive and kind that I have ever interacted with at a VRBO - truly exceptional. The house is large (3 full bathrooms!) and has a great outdoor area with an excellent grill and fire pit. The location is great - just 2 blocks to the beach! - and near lots of amenities/ restaurants/ grocery stores, etc. The kitchen is very well stocked for actual cooking - which was much appreciated for our holiday meals. The primary suite is huge and very nice, as are the beds in the primary suite and the Marilyn room. And, there is a lot of parking!Unfortunately, the views are only of other properties - which are very nearby and not very attractive. The third bedroom has a futon and doubles as a dining area - convenient, but not the most comfortable. The bunk beds in the kids' room are a little rickety and noisy (curtains in that room would also be great, in addition to the blinds). The floors throughout are rough stone - common in this area - but more area rugs would have been great. Overall, I would recommend this for the space and the location - and the lovely hosts.

This home was in a great location, steps for the beach for easy access with little kids. Plenty of space for a group of friends. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to questions or concerns.

Amazing home! Being steps from the water was a huge plus for us. The parking situation in Mission Beach is always a nightmare, that won’t be a problem if staying here. We will definitely book again.

Weekend Getaway
This beach house was a perfect house for our girls weekend. The property manager was quick to respond to my questions. I would say the house sleeps comfortably 8-10 (if you don’t mind sharing). We had 3 beds that people shared and then 2 that didn’t, and we didn’t use the bed in the closet. The location was the best part. Walking distance to everything we wanted and an easy pick up for an Uber. You can see the ocean from the top balcony! I’d stay here again. Beautiful home.

Incredible house, even better location
The 3 story layout made the house feel spacious even with 11 guests. Premium finishes and great accommodations in the house including beach chairs and towels were very much appreciated. Great spot, wouldn't hesitate to book it again for a large party in San Diego.

Overall we were very satisfied with the house. Our group of eight really enjoyed the glass wall opening up the way it does. Although the very top of the vrbo listing say 4 complete bathrooms there are only three which is stated in the detail narrative

All we hoped for a more...
Great location, maybe 6 houses from the beach. Tons of food options and things to do. Parking was tight but as described and we got two cars in the garage (very carefully) We had 6 adults and 2 teenagers and fit nicely. BBQ and fire pit were a great time to hang with the family. Will love to stay here again in the future

Our family stayed here for our eldest son’s wedding. It was great to have the patio & fire pit to gather around at the end of the day! Good location, VERY close to the beach🌊 There isn’t a large dinner table, but we made do. The shower on the middle floor leaks spontaneously and the master bath jacuzzi tub was inoperable-we found that out upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. We asked for a late check out & which we were granted with a late fee. We were grateful for the accommodation

Another summer in Mission
We have been coming to Mission now for 7 straight summers, first time at this particular beach house. Great house, all the amenities anyone would need. Only reason for the over all 4 is the mattress need an upgrade. All are pretty worn out. Other than that would recommend a great house for family and friends.

Beautiful place!
I came here with four other guys for a bachelor party weekend. The place was great and we had a good time. The location is very close to the beach, about a 2-3 minute walk. It was also within walking distance to a lot of food options, bars and a grocery store. If you want to be close to everything and have a large group, this is the place to go. There are three showers and we never ran out of hot water. Carolyn is great at communicating and everything was as she said it would be. When we come back to San Diego I will definitely check to see if this place is available first!

Mission Beach House
Pros of the location: Less than a two-minute walk from both the beach and the bay and a short walk to restaurants and stores. Cons of the location: Alley and street noise, including heavy construction on Mission Beach Boulevard. Pros of the house: Light and airy, comfortable beds and sheets. Cons of the house: Maintenance and cleanliness did not meet 5-star standards. This was the most disappointing aspect of the house. Sleeps a lot of people, but common areas are small. Pros of property manager: Responded to all communication promptly and pleasantly. Accommodated early check-in and late check-out requests. Carolyn is a true professional. Cons of property manger: None!

Very nice home. Unfortunately a few houses near it are not kept up very well
The house is beautiful and well equipped. The dryer did not work. Luckily I am pretty handy and was able to take apart and do a temporary fix as no repair person showed up during our stay. TV did not work for first few days until Manangement had a new remote sent out via Amazon. Palm tree on property in desperate need of trimming. It drops large amounts of fruit and the flies were everywhere because of it. Made it hard to keep the very nice full sliding doors they installed open.

Close to Mission Bay Blvd-noisy. Lacks adequate dining area. Too much furniture packed into a small area. Kitchen cabinets are full of unnecessary dishes leaving no space for food storage. (We packed most of the dishes in a box during our stay to make room for food).Found a lot of expired food in cabinets and refrigerator. Housekeeper told us they were instructed to not throw anything away. Indoor and outdoor shower needed repair. Repair was handled expeditiously. Other than the noise, the location is good. The "extra bed" in the master bedroom closet is useless. Using the downstairs room as a bedroom really interferes with the traffic flow of the house. Overall, a rating of fair.
