Such a cozy spot! So close to the beach and all the OB shops and restaurants. The planes are noticable but we were not bothered. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay in OB
The unit was super easy to get to and check in to. Clean place with plenty of fans and an awesome welcome gift of wine and snacks. Super easy to communicate with the hosts. Easy walk to bars and restaurants, but still a couple blocks away from each to give a quiet street. Also very close to beach access as well.

We loved this place and how close it was to the beach. It was so clean and the Host Erich & Taylor were so friendly. We enjoy the little surprises and little extras they left us when we checked in. Overall it was Fantastic.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The host was very responsive to our questions. The location is great and easily walkable to the beach, shopping and dining. The neighborhood is safe and clean. I especially enjoyed mornings on the balcony with a cup of coffee and some soft music. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place in OB
The place was really cute, clean and comfy. I loved all the plants and the welcome basket. It's close to everything - beach, restaurants, coffee. There's no A/C so it was a little bit warm but there are ceiling fans and we opened the windows, which felt safe up on the top floor. The owners were nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Ocean Beach Bungalow
Quaint upstairs bungalow located near beach and downtown shopping/bar area. We were not up to speed on the Ocean Beach vibe, but if you are looking for an old time, relaxed beach experience, this is for you. Apartment unit was well stocked. Nothing fancy, but its the beach! Parking is limited to street. Not a problem in February, but might be a little challenging during the summer season.

Awesome 4 day weekend at Ocean Beach. Erich's unit was within walking distance of the beach, coffee shops and some very good craft beer joints. OB is an eclectic mix of humanity and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be back! Highly recommended. Thank you.

Anniversary Getaway
We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary and had a fabulous time. You’re in the center of everything in this little bungalow. There are so many great restaurants all in walking distance, and a fantastic farmers market on Wednesday evenings. The beach is just a few short blocks up the street. When you get tired of people watching , you can go watch the dogs at the dog beach! We did rent a car so we could go long distances if we wanted, parking is a bear. If you plan to stay in the area (San Diego), Uber is the way to go! Erich was very helpful, would definitely stay here again!

OB BUNGALOW
The property very comfortable and had all the needed supplies and amenities. The check in with the host was seamless. He was very responsive and friendly. The location was excellent. We walked and rode the beach cruisers everywhere. ( They were provided) We didn’t have a car but didn’t need one. We took Uber to farther distances. They also had beach towels and beach items to borrow. I highly recommend this beach bungalow.

The communication was the owner was an absolute nightmare I had to contact vrbo to be able to commit with him and at the end he gave us the wrong code and the lady from downstairs was able to help us to get in Plus the owner didn't leave enough toilet paper or garbage bags and we had to buy our own supply

Pleasantly Surprised
Thank you Erich & Taylor! This was our first time using VRBO and staying somewhere other than a hotel. We were a little nervous. But, we didn't want to miss our dear friend's 50th birthday celebration. In searching online we found this wonderful property close to where everyone else was staying. When we arrived there was a nice bottle of Rose waiting for us and snacks! The place was just as pictured online. The entire place was stocked with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. My husband and I were happy and said if we were in this area again, we would stay here. Side note for some future patrons: The airplane noise is definitely present. However, I found it calming as I need some type of noise to sleep. It didn't seem to stop my hubby from catching too many zzz's either :-).

Great little apartment near the beach, not the best for small children
Overall a nice place, very close to the beach. Parking was a bit tough at times. I would not recommend this property for families with small children, many of the windows on this second story apartment, did not have locks or screens on them and could be easily accessed by children. the master bed is below three windows without locks or screens and are very light weight, a toddler could easily fall out of these. the pullout bed in the front room is also bellow a large window that does not lock, and anyone from outside could open the window, we did not feel comfortable letting or 7 yo sleep on this bed alone and either my wife or I had to sleep on this little pullout bed with our child each night. Also on the deck there is a place on the railing that is open to the roof and a child could just walk right out onto the roof.

Ocean Beach Retreat
Look no further. We were guests for a week. The owners, we bothered a bit too much, were accommodating and always met us with a smile. Having a washer/dryer on site is always a plus! The beach wagon was a huge plus!! Filled it full with provided chairs and boogie boards then walked the city block to the beach!! Coming back!!

We loved this vacation, it had everything we needed. Our flight was coming in around noon in California and we hadn’t rented a car, but the owners arranged to have the cleaners come earlier so we could at least store our bags there - they were very accommodating and nice. The location and area were perfect - we had a great time!
