Great Stay!
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The view and location as well as all the little touches made our stay perfect. John was very communicative and gave us all the necessary information, which made it easy to navigate the space. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home
Great location. Very clean. Loved that we could open the garage door and live indoor/outdoors. Would have loved to try the fire pit but didn’t have the opportunity. John was a very gracious host; before our stay I asked if the vrbo had a cookie sheet, he bought one and had it in the kitchen waiting. As he knew I was cooking part of a Thanksgiving dinner, he asked if I needed to borrow any other items. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the area.

Views with a wow
To start, we will be back. We arrived late in the evening and with a short walk down the stairs, to the back of the main house, our stay started. The interior was clean and modern. With the morning sun rise, the views of the Pacific Ocean were breathtaking & picturesque. It was quiet, with friendly neighbors. We want to go back in order to open the overhead door and enjoy the weather.

Awesome Stay!
We could not have been more pleased with our four day stay. The location was excellent to get to the best that San Diego had to offer easily. Immense attention was paid to all the little details that made our stay feel like home. There were several little extras. The roll up garage door is an excellent feature. There was a clear view of the Pacific Ocean with nightly sunsets. There was even an outdoor fireplace. The hosts left many helpful recommendations for local eateries. The stay far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

Peaceful getaway in Point Loma
We were so comfortable in the suite it was hard to leave! The bed was incredibly cozy, the place was spotless, and the stocked coffee bar was a much appreciated touch. Nothing like that view while having your morning coffee! John is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect; a quick walk to the cliffs and a short drive to all that San Diego has to offer. We will definitely stay here the next time we’re in town!

Sweet Cabana Suite
As other reviews have said, I’ve used VRBO for many years. I always read reviews when making a decision on a property. This property warrants a 10+++!!! Our son and friends we’ve made over the years live nearby so it was very convenient and easy to entertain a couple times. My husband and I enjoyed everything about this suite. Meeting John and Mike was icing on the cake! They are delightful owners.

Paradise in Point Loma!
We spent the past two weeks at this VERY SPECIAL cabana. I could write paragraphs on how wonderful this place is but, to sum it up, every aspect of this place is sheer perfection - ocean views, ocean breezes wafting through the cabana, general location, furnishings, extra amenities, and the best hosts ever! Having used VRBO for nearly 20 years, I can honestly say that this was my best experience. The home itself is right out of Architectural Digest!! Many thanks to our hosts!!

Great rental with great location and great view
Property was exactly what you see in the pictures - it was much larger than I expected and lots of room for the two of us. Easy parking on the street and John sent me the codes to access the rental well before check in time (still had to wait for the cleaning crew to finish up). Lots of little extras included - lots of pillows to choose from (this was big for me as most times they are too soft or too hard). Quality options in the bathroom. Beach towels - large and soft. Beach chairs! Used them a couple of times - most of the tourists were sitting on the ground. Nice welcome box of snacks and a bottle of wine. We loved the garage door feature - opened it every morning and evening as the weather was great. Outside was very nice with lots of seating options and the fire table was great on the cool evenings. John, the host, is very friendly and gave us lots of good recommendations Location-Location-Location - it was perfect for us. 15 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes to the Midway, 15 minutes to the Zoo, 10 minutes to Ocean beach, 10 minutes to whale watching. 30 minutes to La Jolla Cove. With gas almost $6/galloon this saved us some $$. 100% recommend renting!!

Five Star Girls' Getaway
My best friend of 57 years and I chose this unique property to spend some well-deserved catching up time. Talk about the "Five Star" treatment!! We left roasting Palm Desert (120 degrees) to bask in the cool and peaceful setting of Point Loma and the Pacific Ocean. From our booking to our checkout, the hosts graciously inquired about about our needs. Wine, snacks, fresh home-grown lemons, slippers, chocolates on the pillow and all the comforts of home made our stay so pleasant. The unique living room had a garage door wall that opened allowing the cool breeze to flow into the space and grant us a great view of the ocean. Everything was clean and modern. The kitchen was well-stocked with the necessities for cooking meals - however, we chose to eat our meals out - we were on vacation! Easy to find a parking spot in the beautiful neighborhood. Thank you John and Michael for allowing us a wonderful time in your retreat!

Beautiful Rental in San Diego
Upon arrival to the rental, my family and I thought the neighborhood was very nice. Once we got inside the rental we were pleasantly surprised how modern and clean the unit was. The view of the ocean was an added bonus. The pictures are exactly how the rental looks. The owner was very kind and communicative on every thing. He even picked fresh lemons from his garden which were fantastic and extremely juicy. We loved our stay in San Diego. Thank you so much John for your hospitality and opening up your beautiful home so we could enjoy our stay.

Great place in Point Loma/Ocean Beach
Great place to stay! The views of the ocean are wonderful and a great place to watch the sunset. The indoors/outdoor living is a great benefit as there is ample outside space to enjoy the SD weather. The neighborhood is very nice and you are close to Ocean Beach and the restaurants. John does a great job communicating and checking in to make sure you have everything you need. John is very conscientious and always quick to reply to any questions. The kitchen is well stocked and the additional snacks and drinks provided are a nice touch. The bed is comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. John and Michael also makes sure you are well supplied with extra towels, blankets, pillows, etc. Beautiful place to stay and would highly recommend!

Beautiful Accommodations with Stunning Views!
Settled in a very nice and quiet area of Point Loma this accommodation had a stunning view of the ocean. Modern, clean, roomy with a deck the length of the unit. Deck provided a bar table and chairs to enjoy the view, a fire pit, swing and lounge chairs. Nicely decorated and everything you could possibly need were provided. It was the perfect getaway. The very best part was the living room garage door that opened to bring the outdoors in. John texted to let us know he was having some friends over in the event we heard them. We didn't but appreciated him letting us know. He also provided a notebook of restaurants and things to do in close proximity which we took advantage of. It was the perfect place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Owner thought of so many extra touches to make a short visit wonderful--(having beach towels, provided snacks to start us off---had suncreen and salt & pepper & more !! Amazing Property - Book It
Wow, did I feel like we lucked out booking here. The property is very nice, the view is gorgeous and it's a great location. Absolutely everything you could need is there. Motion lights in the hallway, chargers, water, dry shampoo, flashlights on the night stand, and even chocolate when you arrive. We walked in and my partner goes, it's like my dream house, everything I would think of and more. Another bonus is the owner, John. He communicates early and often. He has great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. He checked in on us to make sure everything was going well. He even got up early to meet us in person before we left. I can't say enough nice things about both him and the property.

Beautiful Property
This gorgeous home in Point Loma was the perfect spot for my husband and I to relax and do some sightseeing in San Diego. The location is ideal! Close to everything with a picture perfect view. You can walk 6 blocks to Sunset Cliffs, and see the best view of the sunset in all of San Diego. The Cabana is spotless, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and has anything you would need! The bed is wonderful, and to wake up and see the sun coming through the garage door window is paradise. John checked in occasionally through text to see if we needed anything, and the Welcome Basket was such a thoughtful and personal touch that we really appreciated. VRBO’s don’t get better than this. Finding this gem made our trip to San Diego that much better! Can’t wait to stay here on our next visit!

The best!
We have stayed in many VRBO vacation rentals and this one was at the top of the list. Not one detail for our comfort and convenience was overlooked. Host John Cashman went above and beyond in checking in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. Lovely view from the balcony. Great trip.

Great Location and House!
Super great location! We loved being super close to Point Loma, PB, and Mission Beach. 10 min walk to a beach cliff with a view. John was a great host and had anything we needed. Fire pit seating area in back was great and we could see the sunset from the home every night! Overall great stay!!

My wife and I had a 4 day stay for SDSU Parents Weekend and we thought this was the perfect place. Short drive to everything, nice walk down to the ocean, and the place was beautiful. We look forward to stay here again!

Fantastic Experience
We had a wonderful time during our three-night stay. The property is clean, spacious, and comfortable. There was a very nice care package left for us, along with detailed instructions on how to make use of all of the amenities and a listing of recommendations for dining and other attractions in the area. Our host communicated often via email and text and even had the courtesy to let us know when there would be guests for dinner upstairs above the rental one evening. I can highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

Perfect Place
My wife and I had a wonderful and relaxing time. The indoor/outdoor living was peaceful and great to have coffee in the morning and wine in the evening! The entire property was exactly as advertised. We had a little trouble lighting the outdoor fireplace but John was Johnny on the spot and had it going in no time. I selfishly want to keep this a secret so it’s available when we come back but others should enjoy it like we did.
