The staff is amazing from beginning to end! The place is clean, beautiful, magical at night with the courtyard lights. The Fairfield has all the comforts of home... my new favorite hotel! I will definitely look forward to staying here again when in San Diego. I love the hot tub and the pool is heated to 85 degrees, and is perfect for December in San Diego. The shops, museums, and Mexican dining a walk up the street are fantastic and authentic Mexican. Just absolutely wonderful! Thank you 🥰♥️

There was a lot of construction around the property and on the property. The jacuzzi was closed because of broken filter covers and some of the staff did not even know. There isn't a parking lot and you either have to park on the street or pay $30 a day for a parking garage. Our room was not accessible by an elevator so we had to use the stairs. However, the staff did comp our parking garage fees because of this. Are air conditioner was not working when we arrived but the staff was very professional and responded quickly when we ask them to repair it. By the time we had returned back from dinner it was working. The staff was wonderful but the facilities were nothing like any other Fairfield/Marriott I've ever stayed at... Unclean and very shabby.

I had a rom near to the construction area and the air conditioner apparently was dirty and caused alergys during My night. The hotel charges the parking some expensive. 35 dollars.

Stayed here one night based on prior visit two years ago. Great staff, excellent, unique property. The shower hot water did not get over mildly warm. Otherwise a nice place ane good breakfast.

The first room they put us in was stuffy and smelly. The walls were old, and dirty looking. We were so tired, we tried our best to sleep. The beds were so uncomfortable!! The next morning I asked the front desk to change our room. Thankfully they did. The new room was much fresher, and cleaner in appearance. The beds were still not that comfortable. We checked out a day early because of this.
