Great San Diego Stay!
Great place to stay in San Diego and very comfortable accommodations. Great layout, nice to sit on the upstairs Victorian porch and could even get a glimpse of the water several blocks away. Easy access to everything, liked that there was a grocery store one block away. Hosts were fantastic with an easy check-in and easy check-out process. Cozy place to come back to after exploring San Diego and while a little bit of a walk to things not too far away from anything. We enjoyed walks to Little Italy and the Harbor as well as to the Convention Center where we were attending a conference during the week. Would stay here again!

Clean, convenient, charming
I came in for a conference and this was a great place to come back to after a long day of learning. Easy access to public transportation and very walkable to a lot of restaurants and entertainment. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Due to the location it can be very loud, but they provide a noise machine. I still slept very well though, and would definitely stay again.

great beds. easy access on foot to the inner city and quick vehicle access to freeway travel. A charming heritage building with single pane windows that allow considerable street noise into the space.

Would book again but with ear plugs
House was cute, clean, and well-maintained. Sometimes you can never tell with older houses, but this one was old and a cute way not in a rundown way. Overall location was great for us. Our trip involves going to the zoo and museums. All of which were less than a 10 minute drive away. There are several restaurants located within walking distance and you were close to the Gaslamp Quarter, as well as Little Italy. There are two things that make this house 4 stars instead of 5. The homeless and he street noise. While I know the property manager has no control over the homeless population nearby it is a consideration for renters. The windows are single panes and let in all the noise from the street, which unfortunately is a pretty busy street at all hours.

San Diego City Break
Location is great and also only a short drive to the airport. Noise from the street can be loud from traffic but not an issue at all at night. We used parking meters outside the property of which there were lots, free from 6pm to 8am, just check signs for road sweeping days. Parking lot across street was $15 for 12 hours. Not really an issue if you're out in car during the day. The owners/management company were fantastic both before and during our stay and were really quick to reply to any messages/queries. Apartment is very secure, might be worth being aware that there is a steep staircase inside up to the apartment if you have any mobility issues. Overall, would recommend as a good base to explore the City.

Spring Break 2023
Had a great time, this is a good place to stay in San Diego. Owners are very quick to respond to concerns and, aside from the fees to park, there is no downside to this property. I highly suggest this place while visiting SD, good for two couples or less.

Spring Break
Stayed here for Spring Break. The location to attractions is perfect. As others have stated, the noise from the street is loud but it did not bother me at night when it matters the most. Be prepared to pay for parking but you can game that system a bit; with proper timing, $5 for 12 hours across the street (5pm-5am) will help keep the cost down. The owners/management company were very quick to reply to messages, usually within 5-10 minutes. The place is very secure and great for two people, even with the 19 steps up to the top floor. Overall, great place to stay especially if you like to be active and out during the day, don't hesitate to book this property.

Great communication
We spent four days in San Diego and the location was about a $10 urber ride in any direction. Walking distance to coffee shops in the morning. Maybe not a great idea to walk in certain directions at night. The hosts were great with their communication! So easy to check in and the codes were easy to use. We had some special requests and not only were the hosts quick to respond, but they were of great help too!

Historic stay in a perfect location!
This property was clean, exactly as described and in a fabulous location. The piece was more than fair considering the proximity to the gaslamp district, parking was easy to come by and the apartment itself is a cozy place. Check in and out was easy and communication with the host was perfect. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Stay for Wife’s Birthday!
What are Great property. Perfect home for two couples, with great access to restaurants and Seaport Village. We enjoyed the ease of Uber to the music festival while we were there. The host was very easy to communicate with and accommodated some of our request with no issues. We will definitely stay here again, highly recommend to anybody in downtown. It’s a very unique house and beds were very comfortable. Thank you for a memorable weekend!

We stayed here for conference. There was shuttle pick up place near this house, also it was walkable distance between convention center and this place. Only cons is there are so many homeless people in SD in general so it made me some nervous, but overall i would give 5 stars.

Unexpected Gem
As you walk up the block - out of nowhere pops these quaint historic houses. The apartment was impeccably clean and the two bedrooms were quite large as were the bathrooms. The eating area had everything you would need including a dishwasher! The little balcony was delightful. The host's responses were immediate and very helpful. Agreeing with the previous review - there is a good bit of street noise but you do adapt. And all four in our party would stay there again - without hesitation. It is so convenient to so many things - we walked everywhere! Highly recommend...

Excellent Place to Stay
This apartment was in close proximity to many of the San Diego attractions. Many were within walking distance, and the ones that weren’t, we were able to get to via the trolley or Lyft/Uber. The people who rented this apartment to us were wonderful to work with. They responded quickly to our queries and took immediate action to resolve maintenance issues. The only negative aspect of this rental was the traffic noise from the street next to the rental. By the 3rd night, however, we had gotten used to it. Just so you know, I would rent this property again.

Great location!
This house is in a great spot to walk just about anywhere downtown. It is surrounded by parking so there is no issue there. Perfect for 2 couples since bedrooms are basically the same and you have your own bathrooms. The check in process was super easy, multiple key access entry’s make coming and going easy since there is no key to pass around. The little balcony was a great place to drink coffee or have a fun drink, lots of entertaining people watching while we were there. We will definitely check availability for our next trip to San Diego. We appreciate the historic homes and are happy to be able to enjoy them when we can. Thank you for being so easy to reach, Chloe, even though we didn’t have any reason other than to thank you for the quick and detailed information!

Cute house, great location
We had an amazing time staying here over Labor Day weekend. The unit was super cute and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, the fiancé literally had to look up what brand the sheets were because they were so soft. The location is a 10 minute walk from either Little Italy or Dowtown/gas lamp, which made exploring the city easy and convenient. Overall, a wonderful place that we would definitely stay in again next time we are in San Diego.

Great for what we needed. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed 7 nights at the end of June, beginning of July. The stay was great with only a few minor inconveniences. We would definitely stay here again. We were given the check in codes the day before we arrived, we had no issues getting into the gate or the house. We noticed the porch lightbulb was missing so we messaged the owner and there was a new bulb installed by the time we returned to the house the same night. Just remember to turn it on when you leave if you plan on not returning until dark, otherwise you will need a flashlight to punch in the code on the door. Luckily we always had our phones with us to use. The house is as described. There are 2 bathrooms - one in one bedroom, the other at the top of the stairs. We were missing some towels and shampoo, but we contacted the owner and they brought us some in a timely manner. We were gone during the day most of the time. When we were there during the day, it got a little warm but nothing too bad. There is an upright fan in each of the bedrooms which was very nice. When the sun sets, it shines through the window on the balcony door, which contributes to the warmth in the house - it would be nice to have a curtain there. If you leave or stay during the day, I would recommend closing all the blinds in the bedrooms to help with the heat. It cools down at night. We used the kitchen to cook mainly breakfast. There is limited kitchenware and cooking utensils to use so you may have to get creative, but we didn't have any problems. A few more cooking utensils would be nice. There is a Ralph's grocery store not too far away. They delivered groceries one time and we walked there one time. There is a dishwasher with soap to use. We did have a problem with ants in the kitchen a few times but there was ant spray under the kitchen sink so we just sprayed when needed and tried to keep the food put away. There was one ice tray in the freezer, so you have to empty it often if you want ice cubes. It would be nice to have 2 or 3 ice trays. There is a community washer and dryer that takes coins - we never used it so I can't comment on that. There were some tide pods provided under the kitchen sink. There is some noise during the night - sirens, loud cars, etc. - but I wore earplugs and had no issues sleeping. Lots of places to eat or visit within walking distance. We also took an Uber to several places. It was nice to sit on the balcony and people watch. Loved the stay. Thank you!!

Lovely stay!
The house is beautiful, it has everything you might need. The property was impeccably clean and well equipped. The property management very responsive and kind, great communication. The location has mostly ups and one down, it is close to 5th street where all the restaurants and fun happen, and a 20 min walk to the promenade where you can eat by the water in beautiful restaurants, the only down side is that it can be a little noisy at night.
