This charming 3 bedroom home is located in the heart of Mission Beach, and the new owners just completed a COMPLETE RENOVATION. You will love the contemporary coastal vibe!

This beach getaway sleeps 10, and has all the amenities to make you feel right at home. Enjoy the private outdoor patio where you can relax in the sun and enjoy the ocean air with a good book. Or spend quality time with loved ones while grilling on the BBQ. There are boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys and a cooler for your use, all of which come in handy when everyone is ready to head to the beach... a mere 100 feet and your toes hit the sand! But your adventures and entertainment aren’t limited to the beach. Take in local attractions like Belmont Park, Sea World, or the La Jolla Tide Pools. And when it comes to dining and shopping, the options are endless!

The condo has a 2 car tandem parking spot. Additional overnight parking includes street parking and near by public parking lots.

SHOPPING & DINING
Endless shops line the streets in Mission Beach. Part of the beach living charm is experiencing all the different vendors selling their unique and rare goods on the boardwalk. There are convenient stores for your basic needs and a major grocery store 1.5 miles north on Mission Blvd.

WATER ACTIVITIES
There are numerous places to rent surf boards, boogie boards, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, pedal boats, power boats, sailboats, and jet skis. Another fun activity within walking distance for the kids is to go to The Plunge. The Plunge has the best pool inflatable obstacle in San Diego!

LAND ACTIVITIES
The boardwalk spreads out all along the length of mission beach and is about 2 miles long. The boardwalk is known for its scenic views and a great place to go for a walk, run, ride bikes, scooters, skateboards, and rollerblading.

Amazing location
Amazing location less than a block from the beach and a block or so to Belmont Park and several shops and basic restaurants. Parking spot was incredibly tight (we had a SMALL SUV), but got good at backing in. The unit isn't large (smaller and slightly more dated than it appears in the photos), with just a living room/kitchen, master bedroom with small bathroom, and two upstairs bedrooms and a hall bathroom (no other space/spaces), but it worked well for our family of five. Lots of stuff in the kitchen, but missing saran/ziplocs and the coffee maker is drip (not keurig), just fyi. Great stay overall.

Weekend getaway
We enjoyed our stay. The rental had all that we needed. Location was just steps from the beach, which was very convenient. Parking was very tight. Luckily we saw that in other reviews and made the trip in our sedan instead of a truck. All in all, we had a great time and i'd recommend this place to others.

Family getaway
We stayed for 5 days over spring break and had 10 people total (6 adults, 4 kids) and had plenty of room for everyone. We loved how close it was to both Mission beach and Mission bay. As others have said parking was tight but we were able to fit 2 small suvs. Plenty of towels/blankets for everone and it was great having the washer and dryer in the unit although the dryer vent definitely needs a good clean out. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will boomagain for future stays.

Nice property, very clean. The only issue was parking. There is a parking spot but it is quite narrow. When the neighbors park in front of their garage it is impossible to make that turn in a van/truck/suv

Amazing little beach condo
Very clean, very spacious. Honestly the pictures don’t do it justice! Only thing was that there was a unit upstairs we weren’t really aware of and we heard someone up there a few times although I thought it was just supposed to be us at the property. A few little things like the remotes not having batteries and one of the exterior doors being impossible to close after being opened, other than that it was amazing ! So close to the beach and very well accommodated!

Nice ocean property
The condo was very clean and the owners were thoughtful in supplying you with everything you may need. Only problem we had was the renters on the floor above us were loud and partying all night. This was hard with a 2 year old but other then that our stay was very nice.

Perfect for our group & fantastic beachy vibe!
We loved this home. We travel to San Diego a few times a year (often in Spring to watch our son's lacrosse games: he plays for SDSU). We bring extended family, including grandparents: so renting a home that has at least one ground-level bed/bath is key. Parking is a must as well-and the fact that this home has two spots was stellar because we had no parking issues when our son brought his car down from college to hang out with us. This home fit our group of six perfectly with room to spare on the (very comfortable) pull-out couches. It was clean as a pin and the decor was so beachy and cozy. We loved the sunny patio and also loved that we could hear the waves crashing just steps away. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you to the hosts for creating such a comfortable beach getaway!

Great house in great location
Used the house as base for a mini reunion in the area. We were out and about most of the time so didn’t take advantage of all the house had to offer, but it had all most would need (well stocked kitchen, coffee maker, washer/dryer,linens, etc) House was a short walk to the beach or bay. Tons of restaurants and shopping within walking as well. Parking space was very tight, so recommend you bring/rent a smaller car. The small places seemed to be the norm for the houses as well as businesses in the area. Small car will save you some headaches.

Great Location
We selected this location because it was close to Balboa Park, Zoo and other kid friendly activities. Having the beach steps away made this even better. We enjoyed that it was not directly in front of the beach so we did have constant foot traffic in front of our location. The house was very well equipped for what we needed. Would have been nice to have plastic wrap and foil, but we made due. All in all it was great for our stay. The only problem we had was with the parking. The space is super narrow and if you have anything larger than a sub compact it will be difficult to get in and out. And parking in the area is very scarce. There were many restaurants within walking distance and some nice bakeries and coffee shops. I would definitely book this place again.

Mission Beach House
We recently stayed at this beach house in Mission Beach, San Diego, and overall, it was a pleasant stay with a few areas needing improvement. First, let's talk about the positives. The location is perfect! Being just a short walk away from the beach and local attractions, we enjoyed the convenience of exploring the area with ease. Parking was also a breeze, with ample space available for our vehicles. The home itself was decorated nicely, providing a comfortable and welcoming ambiance. However, the cleanliness of the house left something to be desired. The floors didn't appear to have been cleaned recently, which was evident by the gritty feeling underfoot. Additionally, the bedding was disappointing; one room had stained sheets and hair in the bed, while another had dog hair all over it. This was quite off-putting and not up to the standards we expected. On a brighter note, the bathrooms were well-maintained and clean, which was a relief. While our stay was mostly enjoyable, a deep clean is definitely needed to bring the house up to its full potential. With a little attention to cleanliness, this beach house could be an excellent choice for future stays in Mission Beach.

Fun in the sun
I rented the property for myself and my best friend and her family. We had a blast and enjoyed chilling on the patio and of course going to the beach. Seriously just feet away from the beautiful Mission Beach and bustling boardwalk. My nephew his wife and three boys from Texas joined us for their first California beach day and loved it. They boogie boarded all day! You can't beat the views and the beach lifestyle. I can definitely get used to it!! The house was comfortable and perfect for us!! We never even turned our tv on. So many things to do. We rented bikes and rode up and down the boardwalk all day and checked out the Giant Dipper and all the fun at Belmont Park. I truly had an amazing time on my first beach trip back to Mission Beach since I lived there in the 90's and had a blast sharing my favorite eats and treats with my friends and family! Luigis Italian restaurant, Gelato and the taco shop were a big hit! I can't wait to come back!! Thank you! Anni

Comfortable and roomy beach house
We stayed at here for one week in January 2024. This condo is well located, just inside the Strandway, and about 3 houses from the beach. It was also well stocked with staples including spices, condiments, laundry soap, toilet paper, reusable coffee filter, etc. The main living areas are on the first floor and were a little dark for that reason. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are also nicely remodeled although not shown in the photos. We did run into some maintenance issues and pointed them out to the owner, who was very responsive and helpful along the way. We did not encounter any upstairs noise as nobody was staying there at the time, but we can see how that might be an issue as the upstairs staircase is right along the side of this unit. Also, the smart TV gives you access to all the streaming services (with your own subscription) but unfortunately uses Roku rather than cable TV for basic channels. We found that to be not very user friendly—couldn’t get the football playoffs, for example . Overall a very nice beach condo with the caveats mentioned.
