Upon ascending the few steps to the front door, discover a charming patio on the left, adorned with a couple of spacious benches and a coffee table—an ideal spot to savor your favorite book or indulge in a cup of Joe. Upon entering, you're greeted by an open layout living room. To the left, a closet awaits, stocked with extra linens for the sleeper sofa. The living room boasts ample seating for eight, inviting you to turn on the smart TV and electric fireplace for a cozy evening of games and relaxation.

Venturing further through the living room, the remainder of the condo unveils itself to the right. The dining room, comfortably accommodating six, features a stunning bar cart for all your libation needs. Adjacent to the dining area, double doors lead to the laundry room, equipped with a stackable washer and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board for your daily necessities.

The kitchen, accessible through the dining area, is outfitted with all the essentials. Everything is brand new, including the oven, microwave, dishwasher, and various appliances such as a coffee maker, blender, toaster—everything required for crafting a delightful home-cooked meal.

To the right of the dining room, discover two master bedrooms, each boasting a king-sized bed and double vanity bathrooms with walk-in showers. These bathrooms exude opulence with their exquisite gold details, providing a lavish retreat that may make leaving a challenge.

The Neighborhood:
Located only a few miles north of San Diego's bustling downtown, the vibrant uptown neighborhood of Hillcrest stands as San Diego's LGBTQ+ central hub, offering an array of bars, restaurants, coffee houses, boutiques and unique shops.

Lauded for its welcoming vibe and pedestrian-friendly streets and sidewalk patios, the area's east end is marked by a towering rainbow Pride flag just off Hillcrest's main thoroughfare of University Avenue, at the corner of Normal Street. The landmark serves as the starting point for San Diego LGBTQ+ Pride's annual mile-long parade held each July.

Spanning a dozen blocks west from the Pride flag along University Avenue is a colorful mix of ethnically diverse restaurants, nightclubs and acclaimed wine bars. You'll also discover home decor shops, distinctive boutiques, the Uptown District shopping plaza and the country's only openly gay brewery, Hillcrest Brewing Company. This lively stretch also hosts one of the largest farmers markets in San Diego from 9AM – 2PM on Sunday. A great place to shop for local produce, arts and crafts, the market also offers a wide range of gourmet stalls with hot and cold cuisine.

University Avenue leads into the neighborhood's "village" area designated by the historic, neon "Hillcrest" sign. On intersecting Fifth Avenue, you'll find a concentration of new and established restaurants, as well as a few dessert-centric eateries. Thrown into the mix are vintage clothing shops, book outlets and the multiplex Landmark Cinemas for taking in independent and foreign films.

Just south of Hillcrest sits Balboa Park, the largest urban cultural park in North America and a hub for recreation, arts and culture, and community gatherings. The park is home to 16 museums and performing arts venues, ornate Spanish-Renaissance architecture, 1,200 acres of beautiful gardens and the world-famous San Diego Zoo.

Getting Around:
Hillcrest is very walk-able!
However a car is the best way to get around San Diego if you'll be exploring places outside of Hillcrest.
Uber / Lyfts are readily available if you aren't bringing your own car!

Great house at a great location.
The property was exactly as pictured. Spacious and luxe finishes. Location is awesome, with great walking, restaurants and coffee nearby. Parking in the driveway was a big plus as on street parking is very full. I would recommend this place!

Great location and responsive management team via email. Clean and pretty. Only problem was the bathroom light switch is motion sensor, and it got triggered in the middle of the night and woke kids up. If it’s fixed it would be the best city air bb I stayed.
