Great vacation with beautiful sunsets!
This was our second time at this location and it was wonderful! My son loved swimming in the pool and the sunsets were lovely. We're so glad we were able to make a return visit.

The property is as advertised. Plenty of room for four adults and a toddler. Great location, very quiet and beautiful sunset views from the backyard. Close to all amenities, easy access to freeways. A quick drive to downtown and beaches.

Nice home in a nice neighborhood with a lovely park and playground in the neighborhood. Jessica responded immediately to any questions we had. We had a comfortable stay, and it was very near our son and grandchildren's home.

Cozy Winter visit to San Diego
We felt so lucky to find this home in San Diego. Great location for our short trip to see family and SDSU with our teens. All information, including arrival and departure, was very clear and easy to follow. It was too cold to swim but the backboard had a view, nice plants and privacy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well organized.

Great Home, Wonderful Location
Loved this home. It was perfect for our stay with our adult children. Jessica was wonderful to work with and super responsive. The location was a short drive to the zoo, shops and the beach. Next time we will book when it's a little warmer so we can use the pool more!

Family Trip
Jessica was prompt and attentive with any questions or requests. The house was perfect for a family trip; giving each person plenty of privacy and room to relax. The outdoor patio/pool area was great for winding down in the evenings and watching the sunset. We had a wonderful time, thanks.

Even more beautiful than in the photos! Quiet, clean, and plenty of parking. Centrally located in our old neighborhood. The only drawback was that booking through Expedia was weird--unable to communicate with the host. Would stay again and recommend it to others, but through her regular service instead of bundling with our flights.

Amazing home with a pool
Jessica was a great host. She was immediately responsive with every inquiry I had. My husband and two boys (kinder & 3rd) felt right at home… well, almost. Everything is so nice we were more controlled then at home. The living room is cozy, comfy, and spacious. There’s dvds! A lot of Romcoms and Heat! The kitchen is stacked. No foil or much plastic ware for kids/outside eating. There are a ton of pillows. The house has a nice flow. Such as a standing where it should be. A side table where needed. And the smell of orange blossoms outside was amazing. We hope to be repeat guests!

Lovely home, great location, read the fine print
The property is as described in the listing and the photos show the house accurately and beautifully. The owner is very responsive to questions. My only criticism is that there are amenities lacking that I think most people would expect in a property as nice as this one is. For example, the propane tank for the grill was empty and we were told to go to Home Depot to get a full tank, there was no soap in the shower and were told it was not provided (something we didn’t notice nor expected to have to check in the listing), there were 2 almost empty bottles of conditioner in the shower; extra charge for washer dryer seems petty. The bedroom closets were full of owner(?) stuff and not very usable to store our clothes. There are no dressers so we expected to be able to use the closets. All that being said I would rent this house again now that I’m aware of these issues. They are not deal breakers… you just need to be aware.

Beautiful home in central location
This home is beautifully furnished and the location is central to all the attractions we went to ( Torrey Pines Nature Reserve, Balboa Park/San Diego Zoo, Coronado Island and La Jolla Cove). We cooked a lot this trip, and the kitchen is spacious and has updated appliances. We ate every meal at the huge kitchen island. Beds had clean and soft linens with lots of comfortable pillows. We used the attic fan for white noise and air circulation at night. We spent a lot of time in the backyard lying on the loungers looking at the beautiful view. It was too cold to swim in the pool, but my son did a quick dip anyway! We made use of both the deep bathtub and shower. There are grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants very close to the house. Jessica, the host is very friendly and quick with any questions we had. We had a lovely vacation and fell in love with this beautiful city.

I had the privilege of meeting the host. She is friendly and helpful. Depending on your group (family w/kids, adults only or combo) this place works. The Master bedroom is nice. If you have small kids and want to put them close to you - plenty of space. The other two bedrooms, also nice; one works better for two people. The kitchen is great - a good layout and room to sit around the island. This is a quiet neighborhood- we loved that. Be aware that if you rent this home you will not have access to a washer and dryer. For a family that could be an issue

We arrived and found the key box exactly where we were told it would be. There are five of us in the family, with the youngest being 1.5 years old. We were in town because my stepdaughter was getting married. She came over to visit before we all went to dinner with both families. During dinner, I received an email reminding me that we had only paid for a certain number of guests to stay in the house. I wasn't aware that I needed to inform the host of our plans while renting the house. When I told my wife, she felt that we were being watched around the house with cameras, making both her and the kids feel uncomfortable. Even if we were being watched, who watches kids? The pool area had chipped concrete, small rocks in the pool, ants in the front and back of the house, and about ten dead bees floating in the water. The AC didn't work well and took forever to cool the house, making it very hot during our stay. Overall, our stay was uncomfortable.

Overall pretty decent, clean place, good location, a few hidden fees.
Positives: The place was nice, up-to-date, clean, conveniently located, and had good wifi. Negatives: 1st. I wasn't a fan of the ring security camera above the back door overlooking the whole pool area. I get it that they want to be able to see the back patio doors, but any conversations and obviously you/family going in and out of the pool were concerning. 2nd: The pool was pretty green the day we got there - the pool guy had just left and loaded it up with pool shock, it was swimmable the next day. 3rd: When I contacted the host with a question about doing a load of laundry (washer/dryer locked in the garage from the outside), and also that the thermostat needed a lock code to turn on any air conditioning, she asked for an additional $50 for offsetting "expensive southern California utility fees". I negotiated the fee down, considering I only needed to do a single small load (we were there for 3 nights), and did not end up needing the air conditioning, but the lack of full transparency up front left a bad taste. I would stay somewhere else next time we're in the San Diego area.

Booked this location for 5 days. Our stay was very disappointing to say the least. The photos listed do not accurately depict the home. While the kitchen, living room and dining rooms are true to photos the rest is not. The bed rooms and baths are dated and can use some work. We arrived on a Saturday to find a dirty pool, it was full of old bugs (to many to count) rotting at bottom of pool. Called Host she responded right away to advise pool guy would be out on Tuesday! After reminding her we were leaving on Thursday she suggested we skim the pool, we did not pay to stay there to clean the pool. Filter provided did not clean pool. The grill was filthy and the umbrella was hideously dirty. We had to go to home depot at 10 pm to get ant spray because of a parade of ants in front rooms. Called again and was told an exterminator would be out Thursday! She finally came out to inspect the house, swept up have the ants and texted to say umbrella was clean underneath, we never got to use the pool, grill, or the pool furniture which was the attractions to the property. Also no basic t,v, provided. LIPSTICK ON A PIG!!!!!

We were in San Diego for my daughter’s re-enlistment and we could not ask for a better house. House was clean and spacious. The location was central to all attractions I.e. San Diego Zoo, Mission Beach, restaurants etc. Pool was great. Kids loved it!

Relaxing Retreat
Beautiful house, lots of space. The pool and backyard was so lovely and relaxing. We ate most of our meals outside. Absolutely loved the view into the canyon and watching the sun go down. The only “noise” was from frogs at night. The house is about 15 minutes away from shopping, the beach and the zoo. Would definitely stay here again…only for longer!
