Has a lot of potential but stay away!
I’ve stayed at STRs all over the world and this was absolutely the worst place I’ve ever rented. The owner is horrible at communicating and the place is so run down. Almost everything was broke or in poor condition. Showers not working correctly, plugged sink. You get the idea. The code stopped working on the door during our first day and he said change the batteries and maybe I can reimburse you or something. He stopped responding when I asked him to send me the money we spent to reimburse them. No paper towels, only one garbage bag for 3.5 days etc

Very disappointed by what was actually there as compared to the description given on line. My family and I were in town to be with more family. I have a large family and chose this place because it said 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms. We got into It and there was 1 bedroom and a little alcove with a bed in it. Two bathrooms, one with a broken shower door so the shower was unusable. After getting ahold of the property manager he says, well you must be missing the other bedroom and bathroom suite and tells us how to get it it, which is outside around a dark little area and the door is locked. Then he tells us where the key is and the key doesn’t even work in the slider door but eventually we get the door open upon realizing that the door lock is broken. There were no instructions in the website or in the welcome instructions about this suite found outside and especially in the dark there is no way of knowing about it He then says that the fourth bedroom is the living room with a pull out couch. Also there is no internet connection. He gives you a password to try and says if this doesn’t work then just disconnect and reconnect the router but that also doesn’t work. The property was not bad at all if the description had been more honest. If I knew what we were actually getting I would not have paid that price for it. I had invited more of my family because it says it sleeps 7 with 4 bedrooms. In the end they all couldn’t come so it worked out, but it was definitely disappointing.

Not returning deposit after cancellation within agreed amount of time.
We booked the reservation, canceled it an hour later in agreement with VRBO posted terms. We contacted the property owner several times and reported it to our credit card company. The property owner has been non responsive.

Great place, parking was bad
The place was great. Very clean, and as posted in pics. If you have more than one vehicle it may be troublesome to find parking in the street. I would stay here again.

San Diego vacation
The property really did not accommodate our family comfortably. It advertised 4 bedrooms, however, the 4th “bedroom” was more of a studio located outside, which presented a security issue for us. Also, it was not accessible from the main house. It had lock issues and did not have a working smoke alarm. One of the “bedrooms” was the “living” room making it difficult to sit and visit unless the bed was made up each day. We also found the beds uncomfortable. The kitchen was fine, but the water from the sink and dishwasher had a bad smell. The air conditioner was great. In short, we would not stay again. VBRO should have someone verify properties to ensure that the description/pics are true and “honest” representations of the properties.This is the 2nd property that we rented through you and sadly both were disappointing. We have trust issues and in the future we will use another vacation rental company.
