Communication with the host was exceptional. Location great - we stayed there for our time at comic con. Convenient to the convention center and the trams, food market etc; good neighborhood. Home as described, comfortable, clean, no AC but nights cooled off and pool area wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Christmas visit
We visited our daughter, son-in-law, and grand children who live in Clairmont. The grandchildren loved the pool. The location made it veery convenient to travel to their home, and for them to come here.

As with Goldilocks and the three Bears this home was just right for our family. Plenty of room for what we need to do in the pool. Made it nice to enjoy it the end of the day.

Lovely San Diego Home!
Our hosts were responsive. The hot tub was excellent. Close drive to many beaches and zoo and aquarium. Quiet neighborhood. As a family of five teens/adults it was just the right amount of space.

Great Place to stay in San Diego
My family and I went to a family reunion/dodger game and Johns house was perfect for our needs! Only a 15 minute drive to Petco park, neighborhood was quiet and always felt safe. Driving distance to target, smart & final was only 3 minutes away and made getting things for our trip easy and convenient. The house was clean and comfortable and the pool was great!! I will always look to book this home first next time im in the SD Area. Thanks again John!!!

San Diego stay
This place was ideal for my family. But so many restrictions as to what we as a family can do. The only thing is, unlike a hotel. The instructions at the home stated we had to clean everything before we left. Before we arrived I was informed that they need more time to clean the house and we should check in at a later time in the day. But the traffic we got stuck in Phoenix gave them that opportunity to do so. The power was out most of the day on one of the days so we couldnt wash our personal items. When we did use the washer was so loud you could hear it from outside of the home even with all the windows and doors closed.

Too Hot to Enjoy
1) House is too hot. 85 degree on arrival and stay in the 80’s the entire time. Kids and family literally slept on the floor with the front and back door open all night. 2) lights fixtures outside and bar not working. No lights to even eat outside 3) sofa- filthy. Kids woke up with dog hair all over their cloths 4) Our girl cried saying that she saw a “man” inside the pool gated area, peeking. Husband was not able to find anyone, but gate was unlock. We did not feel safe after our first night. For the price we paid, it was not worth it.

Clean, Safe and Fun!
Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights, we enjoyed the hot tub and pool almost every day. there was plenty of room for us to spread out. Close to target and able to doordash dinner after a long day of touristy activities (we went to the Zoo, whale watching boat trip, La Jolla, sunset cliffs, Belmont park, and Coronado) everything was close and easy to get to. Having a washer and dryer was great.

Great house in a great location
John and Erin were extremely helpful. Fantastic house with a great pool and jacuzzi. Neighbourhood was brilliant with so many food shops to choose from. Very peaceful. We loved it. My only little gripe would be aircon would have made the stay more enjoyable. The fans were great but so hot at night and during the day. We didn’t let this ruin our great holiday. Many thanks for allowing us to enjoy your house.

Amazing pool and plenty of space!
My friends and I had a great time here on our girls weekend! It happened to be the same weekend as a heat wave, so we spent most of the time in the cool pool. The pool has a good amount of shade in various parts throughout the day and the pool floats were an added bonus! The inside of the house was spacious and we enjoyed having a stocked kitchen to cook dinners together. Everything was clean and the fans kept air circulating pretty well. Location was easy to get to various parts of San Diego.
