Adorable Spanish style detached back home or casita in fantastic area of Historic North Park . Very quiet. Open & bright with Saltillo tile floor, open concept, updated kitchen, and eating area.. Comfy queen bed in bedroom and a full size hide-a-bed in living room, plus Pack 'n Play if needed. 50" TV/DVD with cable and high speed Internet. Private patio in front w/umbrella covered table & chairs. Private back patio w/loungers, bistro set, gas bbq grill & festive lighting. Laundry facilities available. One off street parking spot in driveway for your convenience. No stairs from parking to casita, the home is all on one level also. Organic products are supplied for your use, including the laundry soap that we use for your sheets and towels.

Walk to everything!! Cafes, restaurants, Morley Park where there is a newly renovated Historic 1933 outdoor public pool. Only 5 blocks from the casita. Bus stop nearby too. Walk score 89, close to Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Morley Field, shopping, restaurants, I-5, 15 minutes to beach, close to Downtown San Diego, Coronado Island and 14 minutes to airport.

Many nearby restaurants - the popular Communal Coffee Café and the Olympic Cafe (Greek food) is just a block away. Walk nearby to 30th & University for many restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping and breweries. Thursday is North Park's Farmers Market & Whole Foods is nearby. The Smoking Goat Bistro (French American), Urban Solace, Tamarindo (Latin), Soi, Craft & Sea, The Mission, Underbelly (Japanese noodle) are just a few restaurants to sample. This is a fantastic neighborhood with much to explore & experience! The location is amazing, and the casita is charming and very clean!

San Diego stay
The casita was very nice. It was close to many restaurants within walking distance of North Park and Hillcrest. The host was very nice and reachable! The home was clean, bed was comfy. We didn’t cook there was out and about most of the time. The only thing I would say is to add to description that there is a skylight in the bedroom with no covering so if you want to sleep in you cannot as once dawn comes it’s very bright in the bedroom. Overall a very nice place to stay with a wonderful host.

This casita is so clean and cute. It is in a great location and we enjoyed the private outdoor area. We were there to attend our son’s graduation from San Diego State University. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at Nancy‘s Casita. Had our dog with us plenty of room for her to walk around outside on the patio and the house was clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay
The property was clean and well kept. Decorated nice with not a lot of clutter. My only issue was the bedroom does have a skylight in it that is extremely bright early in the morning which made sleeping in an issue for me personally. I would however stay there again. The location was great and we really appreciated having the driveway to park in since parking is such an issue in San Diego. We would highly recommend staying here

Wonderful casita, even better than the pictures show. The perfect size for two people and in a great neighborhood. Communication was the best I've ever experienced and we had no issues. Would absolutely stay again!

Great Weekend Getaway
This light and bright casita was a perfect venue for our low-key weekend getaway. Great walkability (check out the Lafayette Hotel Bar) and just a short ride from the San Diego zoo. Comfortably furnished and well stocked with all the necessities. Nancy was a delight to interact. Would recommend without hesitation.

Perfect little casita

Great location. 10 min drive to everything touristy. Cute place. Beautifully decorated inside and out. Well stocked but was without coffee. It felt like home but nicer than mine. Our stay was very short so didn't use laundry facility, nor did we the need to contact owner.

North Park Hideaway
Casita was convenient to Balboa Park, freeways, restaurants and Smart and Final grocery store. Very private and quiet. Walkable, and transit system 1 block away( I did not have a car). I stayed for two weeks in May of 2024. Diane from Northern California
