the hotel is on a busy road so quite noisy during the day (from 6 am). Our room was next to the patio. No windows to be opened to fresh air which made the climate in the room not very nice. The whole day was music in the patio, not very much to our taste. Boring psycadellic music in the morning and not so nice pop music at night. the first night we asked to turn the music of, but the next two nights the same kind of music was still turned on. The watervin the shower does not run away fast enough, so your feet are bathing in dirty water. There is a lamp near the bed, but does not work. So why put it there?

You get what you pay for
Cheap, clean hotel. I felt as if I was on exhibit however. There were windows in the room on 2 sides that opened to halls. No windows open to the outside. I think it is attached to a family home. It is a fair walk to the centro. Complementary breakfast was fruit plate ( in my experience, an apple diced with a small amount of yogurt on it), coffee, juice, and bread.

mucho ruido toda la noche se escuchaban los ruidos asta de afuera y pasamos muy pala noche porque había pulgas en el cuarto, en la mañana un horror llenos de piquetes. no se los recomiendo! puedes hospedarte en hoteles mas baratos y mucho mejores. muy caro para la mala noche.

Very good hotel, very helpful staff
We stayed several days in this lovely hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had one of the best showers I've had in Mexico. The staff were very nice and helpful; when we asked for an extra blanket and a hair drier they provided both in no time. The cleanliness standards are superb and every day they left us toiletries, tissues, juice and water. They also arranged our tour to the Canyon del Sumidero and helped my partner when he needed to print and scan a document. I would not hesitate to recommend this friendly hotel.

Fantastique
Accueil très chaleureux. Personnel charmant et dispo. Hôtel coquet. Petit déj inclus très raisonnable. Un petit coup de cœur pour cet établissement familiale. Le quartier est certes un peu excentré mais pas si loin que ça du zocalo, à pieds ou même via un collectivo qui passe juste devant l'hôtel pour à peine 6 pesos. Autre avantage, de ce lieu, c'est qu'il vous permet de voir des quartiers que vous n'auriez sans doute pas visités si vous optiez pour un hôtel proche du centre. À recommander donc!

Hier sind Hunde erwünscht
Wir haben das Hotel wegen unseres kleinen Hundes ausgewählt. Hier sind Hunde erwünscht und gern gesehen. Das Hotel ist typisch mexikanisch, auch in seiner äußeren Schlichtheit. Der Eingangsbereich mit seinen Säulen ist im kolonialen Stil gehalten und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, einfach aber sauber und sicher. Bedingt durch den Baustil des Hauses sind die Zimmer nicht kalt, es ist viel wärmer als draußen, was in San Cristobál sehr wichtig ist, denn hier kann es nachts im Winter sehr kalt werden. Wir sind beide sehr kälteempfindlich und haben keine Sekunde gefroren. Am ersten Abend hat das warme Wasser in der Dusch nicht funktioniert. Das Problem wurde am nächsten Morgen sofort behoben. Das Personal war überaus zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Auch der Preis inkl. kontinentalem Frühstück war unschlagbar. Wir haben für 5 Nächte für uns beide und unseren Hund weniger als 200 € bezahlt. Internet kostenlos im Zimmer und auch Kabelfernsehen. Was braucht man mehr?!

Barely a place to sleep!!!!
It's like staying in a strangers house considering the owners live there. You can't have an intimate moment with your spouse either or you'll feel ashamed because everything echoes in this forsaken place. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL EVER!!!!
