"This is not easy to find - tucked away in the hamlet above Canfin. (Drive past Candin for 1km and there’s a sign on the left). The hotel has beautiful outdoor seating under a thatch and lovely walks around. But what makes it so special is the quality of the cooking - they do an evening meal for guests, with full use of local products, especially the chestnuts and figs. We had spiced figs in our main dish of perfectly long-cooked beef, and home-made marrons glacé on our delicious lemon...

"This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve done the Camino on a few occasions. Where to start? The building is beautiful with exposed old stone it just looks gorgeous. The beds are very comfortable. The pods give you privacy and the bag locker is a good idea. "Pleasant place right at the “Camino”, woth a great spa to relax after a long walking journey. Very friendly and professional staff."

"The place was easy for the satnav to find. It's located immediately outside the walled city, within easy walking distance. The breakfast was good for the price of €4 pp. The only problem was no parking, though it took me only a few minutes to find off-road closeby."
