"The beach was nice. It was difficult to get to. You had to walk a distance on a very busy street with no sidewalks. Nothing was in walking distance ie. Grocery stores, restaurants. Definitely need a vehicle to get around. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. I do have a major issue that has not been resolved. That has left a very bad impression of the host/owner."

"The apartment is quite grand, high ceilings, painted ceilings, large common areas, modern kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large balcony. First time in Ortigia and would recommend Ortigia and the apartment to anyone. The apartment is close to La Pizza Duomo. It’s a great location. The check-in process was easy. Would come back to Ortigia and to this apartment!"

"Generously sized and clean apartment a short walk from the sea. Vencenza was very friendly and welcoming and kindly met us late on the day of arrival due to delay with our flights. The apartment had everything we could need. It was very close to all local amenities and local restaurants open late into the night. "This is a small house with good, basic facilities and a really great roof terrace. Some safety issues: the bathroom light has dodgy wiring which means the light flickers on and off all night. The stairs to the roof are pretty lethal. Otherwise fine - and the location is excellent, in a quiet back street near to everything you need. Ortigia is wonderful."
