The space
Although centrally located around San Antonio, you may encounter & enjoy some wild life for nature lovers.
Guest access
Guests have access to the guest house, including two bedrooms and two baths as well as the driveway for parking.
Guests have access to the deck including hot tub and immediate backyard that extends from the deck out.
The pool in our backyard is not for our guests to use.
The propane fire pit in the backyard is also for our guests to use, but please don't burn any wood there. Please close the propane tank valve after use.
The deck sauna and hot tub is partially enclosed and allows for privacy.
Only the guests renting the guest house have access to the hot tub/ sauna and no one else is allowed, including the host.
The patio furniture in the courtyard of the main house are not to be used by the guests.
Fell free to walk around in our 1 acre backyard and get in touch with countless species of wild birds, from Blue Jays to Owls.
Get grounded by hugging on of our over 40 trees, rejuvenate and discover new energy.
Other things to note
We have an Amazon prime account for our guests where they can stream movies and TV shows for free. Everything on Amazon Prime is free and everything that is not part of Prime has to be purchased.
The guest house dose not have a fully functioning kitchen but we do have a fridge, a microwave, a toaster oven, a Keurig coffee maker, hot and cold water dispenser and a Gas-BBQ grill on the deck.
Sauna instructions !
The Sauna fits at least 4 people comfortably, even laying down.
The Sauna is turned on with a timer on the control panel and takes about 45-55 min. to warm up. The thermostat ( upper knob ) is turned to high.
The switch for the light is on the control panel.
Take a shower before using the sauna.
Do not sit or lay on the wood, use towels to sit on at all times !!!
If you're pregnant or in poor health check with your doctor before using the sauna.
Do not smoke, use alcohol , or exercise in the sauna. The use of alcohol , drugs and medication is capable of greatly increasing the risk of fatal hypothermia.
Do not use Pool or spa water on the hot rocks as this can create chemical fumes, only use small amounts of clean water.
Do not put anything on the sauna oven.
Do not exceed 30 min. in the sauna at one time, as excessive exposure can be harmful to health. The sauna should not be used as an endurance test.
Leave the sauna if you feeling dizzy, drowsy or lethargic .
Take a cool shower after the sauna and rest.
The sauna is well recommended for those suffering from tension, adolescent skin problems, tiredness or those having trouble sleeping. Arthritis and rheumatism sufferers as well as those with sore muscles and joints from physical over exertion , will find the sauna heat very relaxing.
