Lovely furnished one bedroom apartment (located on 2nd floor) with stove, refrigerator, microwave and TV for your entertainment while you stay in Alamo City. It is conveniently located just off the access road to IH-35 North near The Pearl and downtown San Antonio. One can easily walk to Broadway Street for shopping, eating at a nice restaurant, or finding entertainment in The Pearl complex. Plus, the city bus is conveniently located back on Carson Street (2 blocks) to take you downtown to our famous River Walk and the Alamo. 6blocks from Ft Sam Houston's gate on New Braunfels Ave.

Misleading Post
the pictures of the exterior are misleading. The picture of the front of the building is taken from an angle opposite of the approach, therefore you do not recognize the building. The rear of the property is not well kept making the rear pictures misleading. The property is in an older section of town and not as clean as the pictures indicate. The interior was very clean and comfortable but smaller than anticipated.The owner needs to rewrite the directions. The directions will put you on the wrong street.

Good Access
This property had quick access to pretty much everything. Short drive to the Military Base and to the Pearl area. You can get on the interstate quickly and downtown in minutes. The area immediately surrounding the property is a little run down but felt safe enough. If you are used to quieter areas you will notice the road noise but the owner has provided a noise machine in the bedroom. As advertised, it is a small place, but not cramped.

My expectations were Clean, comfy, and close to downtown locations. This cute apartment fit all 3 of those. We could UBER to any downtown location for $7-9 one way. The apartment was clean and tidy. The pictures are exactly what the place looks like.

We really enjoyed our stay at this one-bedroom apartment. It was cozy, clean, comfortable, and quiet. There were other apartments near, but we never heard anyone. I recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Clean, funky, with a lovely owner.
Just a lovely little place. Great experience all around. Close drive to everything important (Alamo, River Walk,etc.) One caution, if you’re a larger person or have mobility issues, the bathroom (toilet particularly) will be a serious challenge.

Exactly what we needed
Nice clean property. Easy off street parking out front. Not too much in the immediate area with respect to walking but just a quick few minute Uber ride to the Pearl district and maybe 6 or 7 minutes drive to the Riverwalk downtown. We had a car so both drove around town and utilized Uber. Location is super easy for highway access. Apartment was super clean and while we did not have any need to communicate with the host while on site, all the check in information and process was easy and seamless. Apartment is small and suited for 2 people but that was pretty clear on the listing and it was perfect for us as we did not spend much time on site as we were out most of the day and evening. I would stay here again if in the area. Thanks Phyllis!

Quite Quirky Comfort
The most awesome thing about the stay was the proximity to the Pearl. The layout of one bedroom is strange but functional. If you like super firm beds this is the place for you. The host very responsive and keeps a well maintained property. We would stay again.
