"The entrance into the building is nice and inviting. We checked in and were given two keys to the room, which are actual keys and not a card. Once we got to "our room" it was quickly discovered that there was an error in check in. Other people's belongings were still in the room and it was not the type of room we booked. Thankfully the people were not in the room and we called the front desk to let them know of the issue. They immediately came up and verified that they made a mistake and...

"Wonderful beautiful place! It was cloudy, so I did not get a Mountain View, but the onsen experience was wonderful and much needed! The hike up the hotel was not great, but that’s the only con. Overall, we had a great time and experience."

"The exterior looks old but the interior seems to have been renovated and it is in excellent condition including the room we were in. The private onsens are in outstanding condition, the public onsens are great although not as good. The breakfast was excellent with several Japanese and western dishes. The place is close enough to the train station to walk but far enough so that the noise of the town does not bother. "

"I really appreciate the staff's help with my special requests, professionalism and friendliness. The cherry blossom tree above at least the men's part of the outdoor bath was a nice touch, as was the free breakfast. The hotel facilities look quite new too. My nitpick is that there were no nearby restaurants open for dinner at the time of my trip, so I ate at other places before returning here."
