"Vers fine!"

"We showed up somewhat late (10pm) after visiting Billund (Lego HQ) first on our Denmark roadtrip. The staff was very helpful in getting our parking sorted... there is street parking and there is also a parking garage at the nearby convention center they have an agreement with. The bed was comfortable even if the room itself was on the smaller side (about 55% of a standard Motel 6 room)... but they made up for it by having a really cool spacious lobby with tons of seating which is open all night if you want to hang out and converse. If you must have a huge room or you have small kids you might feel cramped. The bathroom was clean and modern. The breakfast was phenomenal and included (if done right it could be your lunch too... typical of a large scandinavian breakfast in all the good ways). The area was also walkable... I would definitely stay here again on a visit to Aarhus."

"We like staying in this hotel however on this stay the toilet bowl seemed dirty with lime deposits. Also, no hooks to hang towels. No small hand towels. A couple were fighting at midnight. Police came."

"The heating didn’t work which seems rather strange. The solution was fine, though: all I had to do was tell the reception and they supplied a portable electric heater which was very adequate."

"We can’t recommend the Hotel Royal more. The service was the best we’ve ever experienced in our 30+ years or traveling—and I’m not overstating that. The people were so friendly, caring, and helpful. The hotel itself was very well appointed. We loved the onsite restaurant and also found that the hotel was perfectly located in the heart of Aarhus bars, restaurants, and shopping. We will be back. "The hotel is within walking distance of the rail station and we were pleasantly surprised with just how close it was to the fantastic (not to be missed) ARoS. The Aarhus street food hall is also nearby. The hotel is well designed and has spacious rooms with nice bathrooms. Our family had two standard twin bedrooms, one facing out and one larger room facing in on the hotel foyer. This hotel has lots of social areas and games to play including pool, darts, arcade games and fussball. The bar and lounge area is really comfortable and well decorated. We are sad we didn't discover this until the morning we were leaving! The breakfast buffet was good with a decent selection of options for us all. There are fantastic furnishings throughout the hotel to create a relaxing, comfortable and fun stay, from the wonderful firm mattresses, good shower, really great Edwards travel kettle and brilliant Geesa illuminated make-up/shaving mirror. The burgundy velvet easy chairs in the bedrooms were very relaxing and the dark decor of the rooms made it ideal for night time, although a little more difficult to get going in the morning if you are used to a bright bedroom or sunrise! All of the staff were friendly and helpful except for one receptionist who did not speak to us or help us to check out and her colleague who was already busy with other customers had to assist. We would definitely stay at the Radisson Red Aarhus again and can highly recommend it!"
