The visit to Nusa Pendida followed our earlier stay on mainland Bali (Askara Canggu) in a villa type hotel where we were the only guests. The stay at Sunrise Cottage was from Oct 24-26 2024. I was expecting a villa with a private pool. However it turns out that there this wasn"t so when I arrived I was actually disappointed. BUT to be fair Sunrise Cottage on Nusa Pendida is actually a hidden gem....

"Beautiful area, the sunset from the pool is AWESOME! The staff is always willing to help, and have always a big smile! However, I would not recommend this hotel for a few reasons: 1) the room had a mouldy and sewage smell, it got better after we talked to the staff about it. 2) limited dining, it was either the restaurant at the hotel - which made me sick, had a cat around you all the time, and dirty cutleries in multiple instances, even after asking for clean ones - or paying 400k in taxi to...
