"We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Maria’s penthouse. Maria is a very helpful, responsive and accommodating host. She gave us great suggestions for places to visit, including stargazing from Omalou Plateau. She also did not charge us extra when my daughter and son-in-law stayed with us for 1 night in the 2nd bedroom."

"This lovely little house was our home for 3 days and was very comfortable. Dimitris was warm and helpful when we arrived . The linen and bedding. Was good quality , I found the bed a little firm but my husband found it just right. Having a toilet downstairs as well as upstairs was much appreciated as was having the aircon/heaters on both levels. "Alles in allem sehr schön. Ruhig, schöner Pool, sehr nette und hilfsbereite housekeeperin. Schnelle Kommunikation mit Vermieterin. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Allerdings viele Krabbeltiere. Fliegengitter vor den Schiebefenstern und -Türen wäre extrem gut. Allerdings müsste man das Haus dann auch besser abdichten. Es dauert ewig (mehrere Minuten) bis heißes Wasser da ist. Fussboden ist wohl an einigen Stellen nass geworden. Müsste erneuert werden."

Since this is a renovated older house, one bedroom is attached to another. This makes it a bit difficult for two families due to walking through one bedroom to get to the front room."

"Gonia ist mit dem Auto von Rethimnon ca. 15 Minuten entfernt. Die Lage war sehr gut für Ausflüge. Es war auch sehr idyllisch und man war fern ab vom Tourismustrubel. In den umliegenden Dörfern gibt es kleinere Geschäfte, wo man einheimische Produkte kaufen kann. Das Haus hatte eine schöne Terrasse und genügend Schlafmöglichkeiten.
