"Our maisonette was warm and cosy. It was lovely having the two balconies with views of the mountain. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The only niggle was the pillows! Very lumpy and uncomfortable! I was a little bit disappointed that the hotel did not offer a personal touch to congratulate my husband on his 60th birthday. "Breakfast buffet was always empty, everything run out and they wouldn't refill, things like bacon-bread-eggs-fruit. Even when you asked if they will refill staff will rudly reply that it has run out. We stayed for 1 week and our room floor was never cleaned, our beds were never made and we had to ask presidently for clean towels, which we got once. Even bed linen were too small and did not fit the beds, so you ended up sleeping on a bare mattress by the morning.No kettle in the room for your...

"A 4* hotel this is not. It's OK if you're just looking for a place to crash in Borovets but it's on the outskirts of town (10 min walk to town if you're not in ski boots). Has a sauna but no jacuzzi or steam room and the pool is not really big enough for swimming properly. Breakfast was average if you got there reasonably early but by 8am everything on the hot counters is cool and doesn't get replaced."
