"The Villa was lovely and so close to the beach. If you want a break from it all then this will be perfect for you. There is not a huge amount to do in the area aside from nice beaches and a handful of restaurants so bear that in mind when booking."

"The villa is beautiful, very well maintained with really nice quality bedding and towels. The photos are spot on. The pool is perfect to cool down and the gorgeous beach is just across the road! We enjoyed the privacy of the location and 4 bedrooms offered. "First, it is well located, the village is nice, close to many things, yet not in city center, the organisation of the house is confortable, the pool excellent. "Just back from a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Our first visit to Crete and it did not disappoint. The villa is a 30 min drive from Chania airport. Directions to the property were easy as were the instructions to let ourselves in. The villa itself is amazing and the photos do not do it justice. The house is spacious with large bedrooms which are all en suite. Each room has its own balcony which boasts incredible views and the seating on these make the perfect spot for cocktails...

"Excellent villa, lovely grounds and excellent beach bar owned by the landlord. Highly recommended. Only slight issue was dishwasher was an ordeal and needs replacing eventually but it did not effect the quality of our stay"

"We’ve just returned from two weeks in Crete, the second of which was spent at Villa Asteria. We’ve stayed in many places around the UK and Europe and this has been our favourite.
