Oceanfront Gem: Pools/Hot Tub, Beach and Beyond

Is there anything better than a quiet sunrise on an oceanfront balcony and a day of relaxation stretching out ahead of you, as wide and empty as the beach itself? Definitely not. But the Atlantic sunrises are just one reason to love Rolling Waves, our 3-bedroom oceanfront Indian Beach condo on North Carolina's glorious Crystal Coast.

Other reasons include:

It's family-friendly! Colorful and fun inside, the condo also has beach gear like sand toys for the littlest guests, boogie boards for the teens and tweens (they'll appreciate the WiFi, too), and beach chairs for you and that novel you've been waiting to read.

Bedrooms include a master suite with king bed and en-suite bath, a 2nd bedroom with a twin-over-full with twin trundle bunkbed, and a 3rd bedroom with a queen bed (these two bedrooms share a bath). Perfect for parents, grandparents and kiddos on a getaway together. It's also friend-friendly—great for two couples or girls weekends and golf outings.

The views! So good they deserve a second mention. Not only do you get the oceanfront vantage point of the Atlantic from the balcony and living area, you also have a view of the Bogue Inlet Sound from the master bedroom. Head to the sound side of the complex and have a drink with fellow vacationers as you watch the sun sink into the Inlet!

The kitchen is set up for real cooking. With stainless appliances (including double ovens and a beverage cooler to free up fridge space), and well-stocked cabinets, you can easily prep meals for the group. But no judgement if you prefer not to cook on vacation. We're just minutes from some delicious seafood restaurants, and the kitchen is equally great for heating up leftovers. :)

Our awesome condo resort, The Ocean Club (one of the top-rated in North Carolina). An elevator whisks you to our second-floor, 1150-square-foot condo. Other amenities include a fitness center, boardwalk access to the beach, and 2 heated, outdoor swimming pools.

ABOUT INDIAN BEACH & THE CRYSTAL COAST

There are many ways to enjoy our coastal location here between the ocean and the sound in southern North Carolina. From fishing on the pier (or on a chartered boat) and other water-bound adventures to golf outings and leisurely days on a white-sand beach with rolling emerald-green waves to lull you into relaxation. In Indian Beach, you'll find the freshest seafood around at markets and restaurants, plus a low-key community vibe with an upscale, Low Country vibe.

The beach in this area was great, not crowded AT ALL! Views were amazing and we loved the large deck overlooking the ocean. The condo had everything we needed and was upgraded nicely. Owners were great to work with. Fabulous trip and a fabulous stay.

Really nice place, photos and descriptions are all accurate. Close to the beach access, the pool isn’t too far and the view is perfect. The beach and pool were never too crowded. We really liked this location. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to anyone. Thanks so much!

The condo complex caters to families. It is quiet and the beach is not very crowded. Our hosts did a great job making sure all was well with us, but they did not bug us with too many emails.

Perfect location!
A perfect ocean side condo. Very comfortable. Close walk to the beach and pool. This unit is right next to the elevator as well. The ocean view is perfect. The beach was fairly quiet while we were there which was lovely. A great location overall, close to restaurants and shops, and just a short drive into Beaufort. Thanks for a great stay!

My mom, her two sisters, and myself had the pleasure of staying a 2nd time at Rolling Waves condo! My mom and aunts are in their 70s and early 80s. The oceanfront balcony is perfect for them to watch the waves!

Great Stay with insane views
Can’t say enough nice things. We really enjoyed our long weekend. Such cute and fun beach decor. Well stocked kitchen. Best part is the view. It hits you when you walk in the door. Oceanfront balcony with very comfortable and cute seating to enjoy the view. We would love to come back soon.

We absolutely loved our stay in this condo!!! We were just steps away from the beach/pool and the amenities were great! Greg & Laura were outstanding!!! They provided a Guide Book with the check-in/check-out process, favorite local eateries, family friendly activities and more!!!! They checked in to see if we had questions or concerns, etc. Hands down, this was one of our favorite vacations and we will DEFINITELY be coming back!!!

I needed to book a new place at the beach to extend my time away. This was the perfect place to do it. I was skeptical of the apartment style condos at first but the place looked great online, so I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. It was great for me solo and would’ve been so for friends and family had they come with me. Communication with the owners was very easy and pleasant. Would recommend it to anyone and I plan on staying again in the future.

Beautiful condo
The condo was beautiful although we had some issues. The fridge doesn't have an ice maker so we had to get ice. We were going to bake French fries and make hamburgers but the oven wouldn't work. We decided we would make spaghetti then but the stove top wouldn't work either. We did find a griddle and made burgers in the end but nothing to go with them since the stove was completely broken. My son is 6ft3in and he was able to see straight into the top cabinets. Previous renter had left a mess of spilled cereal and it was never cleaned up. The bedrooms all have TV which is nice but the remote for one of the rooms doesn't work. It apparently needed batteries. The elevator quit working during our stay so it was a lot of trips up four flights of stairs to load everything back up to leave. We were under the impression that the pool area was open year round but when we went to use the hot tub, it was closed. The condo itself is gorgeous and the proximity to the beach is perfect. I know things happen so I would go back but I think we should have been told up front that the fridge did not have a working ice maker. We spent an hour round trip our first night there trying to find someplace open to get ice.
