Carefully renovated, the holiday accommodation is cosy and welcoming with a wood burner in the living room and retaining many original features including exposed beams, polished wooden floors and chunky pine doors. This popular little village complete with museum, shops and restaurants lies on the spectacular heritage coastline with the Cleveland Way running along the cliff tops. A parking permit is provided for the village car park when visiting. Whitby only 11 miles away is accessed via Sandsend with its stretch of golden beach. Within 10 metres from the front door there is a public area with benches. It receives full sun in the morning and this area is also used as a drying place and a drying frame is provided for this purpose Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant The Cod and Lobster 100 yards.
