"Hotel Salta is a historic hotel built in 1942 with tastefully modernised rooms. Great location on central plaza. Good view from upper rooms of the San Francisco church and hills. Friendly service. Good breakfast included. Nice if a bit cold swimming in a garden setting. Good WiFi. "

"Relatively new hotel. Modern, contemporary style. Comfortable room and bed. Not huge but big enough. Walk in shower. Complimentary toiletries. Decent buffet breakfast with some excellent sweet and savoury baked goods. Small spa, although no gym. Had a good one hour massage for 20 000 peso. Friendly, helpful staff. Good location, just off main plaza. Really nothing not to like and good value for money. "

The great: - Excellent central location, walking distance to museums, restaurants, shops, etc. - The staff I dealt with were polite, helpful and friendly. The good: - The free breakfast had a good selection of food, and operated from 6:00-10:00 AM. "Hip place to stay with incredibly easy check in and check out with a bilingual staff in a terrific location. A lot of solid places to eat within a block or two. Quite inexpensive for what you get! "
