This was a great location, in a nice quiet area of North Salt Lake City. The hosts were so kind and great at communicating, if you are looking at this area, you need to stay here.
We rented this property over Labor Day weekend to attend a soccer tournament. This is an exceptional rental. Very clean and spacious, big bedrooms and living space. Communication with the owners was excellent. I would definitely stay in this rental again!
We LOVED our “3-sisters’ vacation” stay here! The host is wonderful & so easy to work with, the view is phenomenal, & the accomodations are very clean & inviting! We used all 3 bedrooms & we all thought the beds were very comfortable! We loved the outside sitting area around the fire watching the panoramic sunsets! The whole neighborhood is beautiful, peaceful, quiet, & great for walks. For our needs, we would absolutely stay here again!
Communication was great with the host. Everything was on point and very honest and made the whole process easy. Great location and everything was as described and clean. Would stay there again.
We felt so welcome here, communication is amazing, the property is immaculate, inside and out, and the neighborhood/views are awesome!! Very spacious, light and bright 3 bedroom! Yes, I would highly recommend this place for your next getaway.
This is a back house located in a beautiful residential area.
The view to the valley is spectacular. Specially the sunsets.
Air conditioner is quiet and very efficient.
Our party of five women thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We saw a deer run through the backyard, The owners made our stay so nice. The view of the city down below at night is stunning. The living area, bedrooms and even bathroom were so spacious. The kitchen worked well for us. We brought a crock pot and had a yummy breakfast casserole. The hot plates and toaster oven helped with meals. We loved the finishing touches: a white-noise maker in each bedroom, extra outlets/USB ports on each nightstand, and even delicious homemade spice bread to tide one over until morning, The neighborhood is gorgeous and just 15 minutes away from downtown Salt Lake City. We would definitely stay here again.
If you are in the SLC area and need a place to stay, this is a fantastic choice. The accommodations are very clean and very nicely decorated. The location is also very good. We were able to quickly and easily get to all the things we wanted to do - hiking, sight-seeing, restaurants, etc. And the hosts, Brian and Andrea, are super responsive. Two thumbs up!
The neighborhood where this property is absolutely gorgeous and the view from where you stay is more than what we could have imagined. Spacious rooms and plenty of amenities for all of us. This space was more than what i imagined. If you're looking for a place that gets you out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but not too far away. This place is perfect. The hosts were absolutely amazing and so kind! The homemade fudge was DELICIOUS. We couldn't stop talking about it when we came home. Check in and checking out was simple and not at all stressful. I will definitely be looking this place up again! Thank you guys so much!
Excellent property! Views of the city lights below. Private entrance. 3 comfortable rooms. Excellent communication from the host. They even left my kids a treat upon arrival. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. You will love this place!
We stayed here as soon as we got to the area. It was exceptional. We moved to a location closer to Mt Zion area. When we left there, we came back to this property. It was such a great place, we were looking forward to our return. The hosts are very thoughtful and provided a great environment for us. Memories made will be shared as well as recommendations for this property as THE place to stay.
We loved staying at the Private Relaxing Mountain Retreat! Brian and Andrea were very kind and accommodating. They even left us a sweet treat. Their basement apartment was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed turning on the fireplace and cozying up on the couch after a long day. We are so grateful for their hospitality. We will definitely be staying there again! Thank you again Brian and Andrea!
Brian is a warm and welcoming host. His communication was clear and effective. The apartment is beautifully appointed and has the touches that make it feel like home—right down to the extra toothbrush and heated mattress pad. It’s located in a lovely neighborhood 15-20 minutes out of Salt Lake was very convenient to our event. We loved the tame dear that wandered through the yard and the inspiring view..
Beautiful 3 large bedrooms and a huge living space
I met up with my college kids and son in law to do a few touristy thing is SLC and surrounding area before heading to Idaho. There was plenty of comfortable space (I am from Texas and know big haha) This basement has a great view, tons of natural light. 5 stars! Only thing to be mindful is there is no blow dryer or at least I couldn’t find it. Not a huge deal. Looks like they had everything kitchen wise. Beds were comfortable.
This is the lower level of a home. It was clean, warm, inviting and welcoming. It felt very much like a home. Three spacious bedrooms, one bathroom, and a large living room made for a comfortable stay. The hosts were great communicators and welcomed us with a friendly note and Oreo fudge. The views of the mountains and Great Salt Lake are amazing. Lots of windows and natural light. There are movies and games to enjoy, and you can watch mule deer that come into the backyard. The hosts cleared snow after a major snowstorm so we could get somewhere. We would certainly stay here again.
Very clean and in a great neighborhood. The host was great and had great communication. They made sure my grandson had some toys to play with. Absolutely recommend!!
Great location for visiting family and close to down town shopping. Very clean and comfortable house. Lots of communication between owners about noise from upstairs was fine for us. The dogs bark when they are gone and noise comes from above early in the morning. We are up early and understand we were renting below someone’s home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during fall break. We had everything we needed and more. The home was beautiful and exceptionally clean. Brian and Andrea were wonderful hosts! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
What a great place to stay with lots of attention to details that make your stay more comfortable. My husband and I were traveling with 3 teenage girls and felt like we all had plenty of space to relax.
We had a wonderful stay here while in town for our son's wedding. The accommodations and property were beautiful and incredibly clean. The hosts have thought of every detail! They even had some delicious treats waiting for us. It really exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to staying here in the future. Thank you for providing such a lovely place!
We had a great time at this property. It worked really well for our needs, we were staying in SLC as a base camp for day trips for hiking, seeing Antelope island and visiting museums and parks. We really appreciated the delivery of a basket with kids toys/books and a booster seat on check in after our children had been cooped up in the car. There were several table games available, wii, and many DVDs/movies. Brian was great at communicating and let us know what to expect and provided activity and restaurant recommendations. We were also welcomed with fudge, which we all liked. The outdoor porch and evening views were spectacular. It is surprising to have such great views out of a lower level/basement. There was some occasional foot noise above, but never bothered us. They provided white noise machines you can use in bedrooms if it helps kids sleep. Very clean, nice neighborhood, but be prepared for steep grades getting up to the house, especially in winter. Kitchen was well stocked, we used the toaster oven and hot plate for stove and both worked well for our needs. Really enjoyed our stay.
