Located in between Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons in Cottonwood Heights, you have access to four World Class ski resorts; Solitude Ski Resort, Alta Ski Resort, Brighton Ski Resort and Snowbird Ski Resort. Utah is now a Michelin 3 star destination. This is based on the Ski resorts as well as 4 National Parks that Utah plays host to. Biking, and hiking are also world class and the views from the top of some of the trails are just breathtaking.

Porcupine Pub is just a short distance up the road and for fine dining La Caille is just down the road. Many other restaurants are nearby including the traditional fast food options should you be looking to eat and get some rest.

The home has been completely renovated and nothing was overlooked. This is the epitome of luxury. Quartz countertops provide a beautiful and clean look for your kitchen where brand new appliances complete the look of class and quality. All the beds are new top quality mattresses for comfort and that great night rest you need to tackle the next days adventure.

The master bedroom provides a King bed and plenty of closet space to really unpack and feel at home during your stay. Large flat screen provides the seclusion many look for after a long day with the family or friends.

Two additional bedrooms upstairs add sleeping for 6 more adults with one room private with a Queen bed while the third bedroom boasts two full beds and enough space for four adults.

The main living room is central to the home and allows for conversation from anywhere on the main floor.

A second fully-furnished living area in the basement provides ample space for entertaining. Choose to sit and watch a movie on the large flat screen or play a competitive game on the Xbox. The kids often find this an area of sanctuary and a bedroom with bunk beds and a full bath so they can stick together but not be too far away.

Ideal ski vacation home base
Perfect spot for a large family or mixed families. Directly between big and little cottonwood canyons, so 4 ski areas within 20 miles. Large living room + basement media room/wet bar. Impressive storage and room sizes. Bathrooms are well done & plentiful.

Only issue was with the hot tub, it had a strong smell and when we researched it on line it said it was likely due to biofilm and that we should not use it. Otherwise an ideal property in an ideal location for our stay

Great stay
We had a great stay and hit all four resorts in the cottonwood canyons. The place was very nice and accommodating. The second adult bedroom configuration could have been better so it depends on who is coming and what you need. It’s been very nicely renovated and is of nice quality. Great place!

Family ski weekend
David’s place is amazing. Extremely clean, comfortable and a perfect location. The kitchen was very well stocked which it made it easy to cook in the spacious kitchen. There was plenty of room for 7 adults. David was a very responsive host. There was a slight issue with the hot tub but other than that it was a perfect stay!!

Awesome location and Awesome house
Great location in Cottonwood. Minutes to Alta, Snowbird, and close to the highway to hit PC or downtown. Restaurants, shopping, groceries are all within minutes. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas are nicely decorated and comfortable. Hot tub was a great place to relax after a day of skiing. The owner was 100% responsive when we reached out. We’ll be back!

Great property, close to mountains but with a few issues
This is a 5 Star property. Big enough for the 10 of us on the trip, plenty of beds and room to spread out. Clean and updated interior. 2 Livingroom setups with TVs was great, gave the kids a place to go. Nicely stocked kitchen. 2 car garage which was nice to store ski equipment in. Property and neighborhood was cleaned up quickly after a large snow storm while we were there. Great location, close to 4 major ski mountains and plenty of restaurants and stores. Had a small issue with the powder room sink on the first floor. Hose under the sink was leaking the first time we used the sink. Owner put in a claim with VRBO for damages that we didn’t cause. This was a small maintenance issue which I don’t think should have been addressed through the VRBO protection plan. Larger issue was that the hot tub didn’t work. Wasn’t hot enough when we arrived and the remainder of the week it just didn’t work at all. In chatting with the owner this was a known issue. Considering this was a major factor in selecting the rental it was quite disappointing. I would double check about the hot tub status prior to your booking or arrival.

Perfect home in great location.
My family & I stayed here for a week trip to Salt Lake. The home is a great size, plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Home has been totally updated & upgraded. Home was clean & had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Would totally stay here again!

Great property!
Perfect for spending a few days in SLC with friends and family. Very clean and nicely upgraded. Great location for getting around town. The quiet neighborhood and the park behind the house are fantastic bonus amenities. Would definitely rent here again.

A bit of a disappointment
Property is lovely, location is wonderful...and the owner, David, was incredible with making sure we were taken care of. However, here are a few things we experienced, which might have been avoided, had David done a complete "run through" himself after his last guest stayed and before we came. The window in the master bedroom needed to be properly replaced....it was absolutely freezing in this room despite a space heater David provided. Two TVS continued to go off and on or freeze the entire time we were there, even after David made 2 trips to try to fix them. Several light bulbs needed to be replaced...which David did after I told him, and linens needed to be washed before we used them in the guest bedrooms. All of this could have been avoided had the place been checked before we arrived...and yet, David was as accommodating as could be, but still...when I came with my family, I wanted it to be the very best experience for them to enjoy!

Spacious new unit tucked in between BCC and LCC. Can’t get much closer to skiing while still being in the valley. The unit is clean, tastefully decorated and the owner was responsive to any questions.
