"The villa was in the hills near Frigiliana - a 15 minute drive away. The villa was fine with 2 bedrooms with air con and 2 with fans. We were not inside much as the outside area was large and really great for relaxing - with sofas in the shade, sunbeds and a nice pool and views over the mountains. Frigiliana is a lovely village and we had some greatt meals there and Nerja is only 30 minutes away and has a great beach and beach bars and large supermarkets if cooking. "Firstly the hosts are great with communication, especially when we had our flights cancelled last minute and had to purchase new ones, Marisa and Jesus were very understanding even though we then had to check-in early hours of the morning. "My husband and I spent a week at la Bolina in early September. It was wonderful - the house is well-kept, quirky, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The art in and around the house is incredible and we loved 'discovering' new pieces each day during our stay (I think I came home with about 100 photos just of the art)! "The villa is pleasant and well presented, with a good size pool.The outside is spacious,with an area for sun bathing and also a small veranda when shade is required. A barbecue and outside eating table is provided, you can either use gas or charcoal.A car is preferable, and off road parking is provided.
