We would like guests to be able to enjoy our 5 bedroom family home while we are away (our things, including the kids’ toys, clothes, etc. will be in situ)
Weekends are available for 2 nights and school holidays for a minimum of 5 nights.
The house has a pleasant outlook over the water meadows, and is well situated, being less than a 10 minute walk to the city walls and historic Cathedral.
Stonehenge is just over 10 miles away and the New Forest and beaches are also close-by.
Our spacious house offers 5 well sized bedrooms (the master bedroom having a large en-suite bathroom, with ‘his and hers’ sinks and a rainwater shower, and the loft room having 2 single beds that can ‘zip & lock’ to create a super-king, with a separate en-suite too).
There are two well-proportioned reception areas that have a large bay window to the front, a wood burner and an open fire respectively, and bi-fold doors, allowing for 2 separate rooms or a larger more open plan space.
At the rear of the house is a large, light and airy garden room/orangery/conservatory, with a roof lantern letting in plenty of natural light, underfloor heating, and 3 huge bi-fold doors leading into the garden.
A convenient downstairs toilet is situated next to the kitchen.
The kitchen has recently been extended and is well fitted, with a good range of worktops, incorporating a porcelain sink and drainer unit (with a mixer tap), a four ring Baumatic hob (with extractor hood), storage units, table and chairs, a Neff double oven, dishwasher, large American style fridge freezer and a separate washing machine and tumble dryer.
To the front of the property there is a brick pavioured driveway, providing off road parking for one vehicle.
There are flowerbeds containing mature and attractive planting including a Hydrangea and Fuchsia.
A timber gate gives access to the garden, and immediately to the side and rear of the property is an area of decking, with a new patio table, chairs, parasol and a bbq, providing plenty of space for sitting out.
Beyond, the garden has been mainly laid to lawn, naturally separated by a gravel path leading to a storage area and timber shed, with attractive flower beds with mature planting. Two apple trees, timber garden shed, timber playhouse and outside tap.
You will have the entire place to yourselves as we only invite guests when we are away.
We are likely to be relatively close by and have friends and family locally that can also help resolve any issues or answer any questions should they arise.
This is a lovely quiet residential area, but wonderfully close to the hub of the City.
Parking is available on the drive for one vehicle (there are parking restrictions in the area, but if you have more than one vehicle let us know and we'll see if we can assist with temporary permits, etc).
If you need an early check-in or late check-out, just ask, we may be able to accommodate for a £15 fee.
Also, please just be careful with parking in and around Salisbury (we’d hate a parking fine to take any of the shine off of your stay).
