*Base rate is for 2 guests; each additional guest is $25/per night. Each day guest is $25/day.

*Dogs/pets are not allowed on site. Guest is required to complete the Pet Addendum with a service dog present on site.

*Hot tub is cleaned and sanitized between each guest reservation by a separate, licensed, & professional hot tub contractor, not the housecleaner.

*Host reserves the right to charge guest appropriate extra guest fee from guest security deposit if unauthorized and additional guests are on property (day or night) than stated on reservation.

Rustic Cabin
This is a cute rustic cabin away from everything. Property was nice but overgrown and could use some good landscaping with solar lighting to the hot tub for safety. Master bedroom bed was a little too soft and uncomfortable but overall the house is nice and spacious.

We spent 5 nights at the cabin. Hot tub was amazing. Made a full Thanksgiving dinner there with my husband and 3 teen kids. Family loved that fishing was only a short drive away.

Great secluded spot for the family
What a fun cabin to stay at while visiting Salida and surrounding areas. Our family was there to ski at Monarch. The cabin is an easy drive to the ski area. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids. Secluded, with a beautiful woods area behind the cabin. Easy drive to Salida for supplies or dinner. Owners were EXTREMELY responsive and very welcoming. Some of the best we have had. Thanks for a great stay.

The property is great. Feels like you are out in the country by yourself, but you are really close to Salida and several ski areas. The stars were beautiful, and we really enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub.

Very secluded cabin, quiet, nice hot tub. I think it would be so beautiful in the spring/summer time to enjoy all the outdoor space. Fire pit, views and the little babbling brook coming down the property!!! We will be back!!

We loved this cabin. So spacious and peaceful. In the middle of the woods and secluded. However, if you are looking for a place to wake up and hike or walk, this not the place, as it is on one acre and the surrounding property is off limits. This was fine for us, as there are so many amazing places within an hours drive to hike, fish, enjoy nature. We highly recommend.

Great cabin for family get togethers.
Had a wonderful experience staying at this lovely cabin, the master bedroom is along the creek which provides a lovely ambience while you’re sleeping at night. The hot tub is amazing, a little bit slippery to get out on the stairs and a little hard to see at night. other than that a wonderful addition to a great place.

Great relaxing stay!
We came in from Iowa looking for a place to stay that was close to Monarch. This place was perfect! Only a 20-25minute drive to the Mtn. & close to Salida if you want to eat out a night or two. We made our own meals in the well equipped kitchen most nights. The fireplace and hot tub were great amenities. Beds are amazing! We will be staying here again. Make sure to read directions for entering property before arriving as it can be just a little confusing.

July 4th trip
Beautiful, comfortable and perfect for our needs! The kids complained about the internet being slow on our down time, but it wasn’t a big deal to the adults except when buying fishing licenses. The games were great to have - my kids played a ton of chess! The creek noise was so relaxing and the hot tub was very welcome at the end of our long days - thank you!

Amazing little cabin in the woods!
Staying at this property was truly magical. My sister and I had an amazing time. It took us a few minutes to figure out the remotes, the fire place and a few other things but oh my gosh of all of the vacation rentals we have stayed at this is by far the best. It was clean, the beds were soft and comfortable, the hot tub was immaculate. Be warry when washing dished you run out of hot water quick so don't let it run. Lol Jean you were an amazing host, thank you for sharing your home with us!

The hot tub was clean and worked great. The overall cleanness of the house was good. There was not central heating for the house, each room had its own space heater. This was not a bad thing, just a comment. There were several small spiders in the house, understand this is a difficult time to control insects but may need to spray in the house more.
