Salida businesses have been approved by the CDPH and have appropriate distancing in place. Most dining and shopping locations have takeout and curbside pickup available. The Railroad Cottage is a quick 20 minutes ride to the Monarch Ski Resort with incredible downhill skiing, cat skiing, tubing, a sunny lodge, and ski school for the kids. At the end of a snowy day or day on the river, there is no better place to warm up than one of the few hot spring resorts in the area and finish the evening with a warm delicious dinner and glass of wine at one of the many restaurants just minutes away.
The Cottage is immaculately cleaned and disinfected using CDC and Chaffee County guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our cottage allows you to leave all your worries behind and spend all of your energy playing in one of the top destinations in the United States!

Bring your own laundry detergent, napkins, and toiletries. We stock enough supplies to get you started, but if you have an extended stay you may need to purchase additional supplies.

Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved over-occupancy or pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from a violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $1000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement. Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and 50% refund for cancelations 14 days prior.
