"We were very pleased with the hotel. Rooms are spacious and private - each room has a private entrance in a "condo/townhome" type of setting. Our room was large with a balcony and french doors in the bedroom and bathroom. Nespresso machine with coffee pods in the room too. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the service impeccable. The hotel also has top notch restaurant if you don't feel like driving to town one night."

"The story of this amazing home goes back to the 1500. Many beautiful details at the same time sad to see the grounds are not looked after. Even winter grounds could be magnificent with proper care. The building itself needs lots of maintenance and the rooms need some updating, but the experience was great. We met beautiful people and that was priceless. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were extremely nice. Happy New Year, Happy 2025"

"This unique lodging in an historic palazzo is located in the central part of the city. Major squares are within five minute walk. Parking can be a challenge but the property offers valet service for an extra charge. Breakfast offferings were very good with a variety of options. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"The hotel was in the perfect position around the corner from the main square. When we checked in we were shown our room which was spacious but had no natural light. This was disappointing having booked a superior room. We were offered another room but there was only a bath with a hand held shower. So we decided to take the first room which had a large bathroom/walk in shower. The amenities in the room were good although there was a bad smell much of the time. "This is an amazing property in a peaceful location surrounded by stunning countryside. Our check in and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook and eat easily without having to go out anywhere. Be advised that because of the stunning and remote location, a car is essential. Loved it!"
