Come enjoy a quiet and peaceful lake in Southern NH, close to exciting local attractions such as Canobie Lake Park and the new Tuscan Village. Beautiful spot on the lake in all four seasons! Sit on the deck overlooking the water and the passing kayakers, or take a dip in the lake from one of two private docks. In the Winter, the lake is a great place for ice skating, ice fishing or just talking a brisk Winter walk when the lake freezes over.

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage was perfect for our family of four. We had plenty of room. The kids had there own bunk bed room which was great. The whole place was beautiful and clean!...it was wonderful waking up and having coffee on the deck looking at the view and my husband fishing whenever!

Waterfront cottage
This was a great weekend spot for my family of four, 2 adults, 2 kids. The cottage seems recently flipped and well done. Bunk beds were a hit with the kiddos and the waterfront was much more peaceful and quieter than expected. Close to plenty of food and activities.

Nice getaway
We enjoyed this lakeside cottage so much last summer that we couldn’t wait to visit again this summer. Hard to believe it’s only about an hour or so from Boston. It was perfect for our family of 5. The property was well kept and right on the lake with plenty of water activities for us and the kids to enjoy (paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming in the lake). The host Greg was great and responsive. We’d love to visit again next summer.

Wonderful location and property. it is in a quiet neighborhood located on a waterfront. We had a great time on the water in the kayaks and spending time with family in the area. This was our second time at this cottage and plan to book it again. The immediate location has many restaurants, shopping and entertainment. It is also very close to the I-93 and I-495 highways which make it easy to travel to Boston or Maine from this location.

Thanksgiving Getaway
Wonderful cottage in a quiet neighborhood on a nice little lake. It is a great setting and was perfect for us to decompress after spending holiday festivities with family. Greg was great to work with and provided all the communication needed to be prepared for the cottage. We are looking to book again due to the proximity to the coast, shopping and restaurants!

Lovely Lake House
My family and I had a great stay at Greg’s lake house. Super cute house with a great atmosphere outside on the deck. There’s 2 docks out on the lake with kayaks and paddle boards. Greg was great with communication and answers very quickly. Awesome location, about 10 minutes away from Canobie Lake Park and Tuscan Village.

A slice of heaven
Our family had an absolute blast at this lakeside home! It was perfect for our family of 5. Kids played in the lake all day and we all enjoyed the kayaking and paddle boarding. Conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Canobie Lake Park. It’s hard to believe this beautiful lake is only about an hour from Boston. The property itself was very clean and the hosts were very welcoming. Our family is already looking forward to coming back next year! Thanks for a great experience!

Beautiful, Relaxing, Quiet, Peaceful, Wonderful...
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, comfortable and very well priced. The deck was delightful to sit and knit while watching the wildlife in the lake. My son enjoyed the kayak and explored the lake one morning. The solar lights around the lake at night was magical and so relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with chickens clucking in the distance and a few dogs barking periodically. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to rest, relax and enjoy the outdoors. Greg is very responsive to all of my messages to him and a delight to deal with. I have stayed at many rentals and this one ranks upwards to the top of my list. Highly recommend!

Perfect House
This house was perfect for our family, and a great location for visiting family nearby in Kingston. It’s a newly renovated house that’s very clean inside and out. Kitchen has everything you need to cook with, plus there’s an outdoor gas grill. Living room has a Smart TV. They also have a nice fire pit down by tne lake with plenty of fire wood. The lake is small and therefore not too busy, which we loved. The house has 2 small docks and 2 kayaks for guests to use. It’s a perfect place to get away and relax in a peaceful environment. Shopping and nice restaurants within 5miles. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again in the future. No dishwasher or washer/dryer, but wasn’t a big deal for us. Great place at a fair price!

Disappointed —Left a day early
While the house was cosmetically nice there was an issue with the odor in the house. It was definitely coming from the ductwork and probably not cleaned in a long time. There was a mixture of oil and mildew odor. Not conducive to enjoying indoors or sleeping. There was minimal furniture one being no coffee table and only one end table. The couch and recliner were very uncomfortable. The handheld shower was great if you were 6’ tall. I couldn’t reach it. Not an overall pleasant stay. However it was clean and Greg is nice. He just needs to address these issues.

Lakefront vacation with no water in lake
The main reason we selected this property was the lake. Thats the cover picture for this place and a lot of photos touch on it. Its even called the lakefornt cottage, i believe. That is the only reason we selected this place. Much to our dismay, when we arrived inthe lake. We are from Texas so if this happens every winter, we have no idea. We wish the host would have told us this as we had planned activities around the lake. The water also smelled like metal when I showered or washed my hands. I read that th this happens in NH with the water and means the ststem needs a cleaning or something. I also read this was not a health hazard so thst made me feel better. Someone had posted previously of the cottage smelling musty or moldy. I have a great sense of smell and i could smell it but didnt say anything to my damily. My husband later commented saying he smelled it so for him to smell it too with his bad allergies means something. Other than this the cottage is well updated and i believe with a little maintaince it has a lot of potentional. Oh, and the cleaning staff may want to slow down on how quickly they wash the dishes. We found a few forks with food stuck to them. We would stay again if theres water in the lake. tlake.

Perfect size house for our family trip
The rental was clean and had the perfect location. I love the lake in the back with the kayaks and the fire pit. This rental is about 40 minutes from Boston and 40 minutes to an hour from Salem depending on traffic. Around 2 and a half hours from the white mountains. Cons: I wish there was a washing machine and dryer on property, would have made it easier for me since I have a baby that is spitting up all over his clothes. I wish they had a play-yard available for those traveling with a baby, I had to put him on the bed with me

Great location
The location was wonderful for our long weekend for our daughter's wedding nearby. We enjoyed the kayaks, sitting outside and watching all the birds. The kitchen had everything we needed. We could have used more bedding as there wasn't anyadditional blankets under the sofa bed. We would stay here again.

Perfect for a family vacation
Our family of 5 came to the cottage this summer to enjoy a relaxing week by the water and enjoy the local attractions. My kids loved the paddle boards, kayaks, and just swimming in the lake. The house was perfect size, queen size bed in one room, bunk beds in one room and a comfortable pull-out couch in a separate room. There were lots of games, books, and a large Smart TV. The kitchen was well-equipped and had a Keurig coffee machine. There was a great grocery store and rail trails for running/biking. The owner was super responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We would definitely stay again in future summers!
