"The swimming pool was green with algea and very dirty. We could not use it . The kitchen was full of flies, which we spent a lot of money having to clean, buy fly spray, fly strip! The cleaning was very poor. Mattresses on beds stained. The house could be beautiful and is in a lovely setting. But is in a state of disrepair. Very disappointing as this was our first family holiday in 3 years."

"This is the most beautiful holiday rental we have ever had in France. The house was lovely and well-equipped and the gardens and terraces calming and peaceful. The pool was great and had the best view from the whole property with the vineyard rising up to the hills above. The only problem for us was that there was only French TV and as it was the end of September the evenings were too cold to stay outside."

"What a super time we had in Grospierres. Every need catered for. Any problems addressed (sometimes through Google Translate, others my limited French was sufficient!) "We stayed at the larger gite which was charming and nicely decorated. Marie and Christian were great and helpful with suggestions re activities and restaurants. The gite is on a country road but traffic is light and we did not have an issue with noise. We will happily return again in the future."

Mais grosse alerte sur l'hygiène des locatifs, entretien et nettoyage des résidences catastrophiques. (achat d'un kit nettoyage complet puis deux heures de ménage et de vaisselle avant de pouvoir défaire les valises.... juste scandaleux !). "

"This villa is in a quiet corner of the village of Lavilledieu, yet is convenient for all the Ardeche has to offer. All the rooms are on one floor, and in particular include a large conservatory which opens fully into a small patio which is ideal for eating out. The hosts are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. In fact my son was lent a bike to explore part of the countryside at no cost! The pool is also very inviting."
