"The staff was fabulous; both helpful and kind. We were unaware that caves are humid, which was our naivete. Breakfast was ample. Our cave was large and had lots of places to sit comfortably, inside and out. The only reason the stay was not 100% excellent was the humidity inside the cave despite running dehumidifiers and air conditioning. Having a sweet dog on premises was a bonus!"

"Funktionelle Unterkunft, nur ca. 350m zur Piazza Vittorio Veneto. In der Unterkunft ist alles vorhanden, bei Ankunft erhielten wir von Prospero und seinem Sohn viele nützliche Informationen. Matera ist unglaublich beeindruckend, samstags sehr großer Straßenmarkt im neuen Teil der Stadt. Sehr empfehlenswert!"

"The apartment was equipped with everything you need. The host, Maria and Francisco met us there to check in. She must have been baking all day as there were 2 cakes and various breakfast items. We were steps from the main Piazza and the Sassi. Difinately a must see. The caves are over 9000 years old. Truly amazing. We highly recommend this location"

"Location was amazing with some of the best views of Matera. One can just enjoy from the comfort of the room in the private balcony or with just windows open. While we had to carry the luggage down to the property, proper research would have suggested the public transport that we could have been used to minimize the hassle. Breakfast here was excellent with so many choices, including some fresh food. Their offer to store luggage after checkout is a good option to avail."
