"Great historic place with lots of trees and adjacent to a park. Walking distance to town. Spacious rooms and very confortable. The only draw back is the noise from the expressway. We loved the restaurant but noticed the menu is limited. We expected more original entrees. But great regardless."

"Hot tub wasn't working which my teenager had been looking forward to for our multinight stay. That is the only reason a gave a 3 star raiting for "property condition & facilities". Staff was friendly and courteous."

it may have been timing, but finding decent good at 9 PM was challenging - the food scene in Salado is not thriving.... expect basic options. The town and town's residents were nice and friendly.
