Beautiful location
"Overall good. While unloading, my son had to park near the driving range a grumpy, crappy old man leaning on his golf club proceeded to stare him down and like a jerk put a note on his windshield and pointing to the signs about parking. Total jerk. Mattresses were uncomfortable and pillows."

it may have been timing, but finding decent good at 9 PM was challenging - the food scene in Salado is not thriving.... expect basic options. The town and town's residents were nice and friendly.
